Sandra and Cooper were amazing! Unfortunately, Crispy had some health issues present between our booking and our trip. This made him a lot more special needs than we had anticipated and I know he was a bit more trouble than was expected. They reassured us and kept us informed the entire time. We certainly did not plan on it being this type of stay for them but they adapted quite well and kept us informed. Danni was a fantastic sitter, probably the best sitter we’ve ever had. She was excellent with communication prior to and during the sit. She was very friendly and our cat (who isn’t very social) even came out of hiding while she was here. We were out of the country and had no pet worries thanks to Danni’s care. This was our first time using zeewoi, and Gaby made us feel reassured about leaving our 2 dogs behind to travel. She spent most of her time with them and sent pictures every day. It is clear Gaby loves animals deeply, so we were very happy to know our dogs were not just being looked after, but loved on in our absence. She took the time to get to know their individual personalities and quirks and give the specific type of care and attention needed for each pup. One of our dogs can be shy and insecure and very attached to me, but Gaby earned her trust in a matter of hours. Gaby allowed us to travel without worrying about our dogs, and we would have her sit for us again in the future!

I had a last minute trip come up, and was relieved Valerie was able to take care of my kitties in a pinch. I liked her immediately upon meeting her, and felt her great energy would be a perfect match for my shy kitties. As far as I could tell, Valerie took good care of the kitties while I was away. The communication was just okay. She eventually replied to my messages about this and that, but didn't really initiate or share little updates or photos of the kitties and how it was going unless I reached out first. When I came home, I discovered that an item of mine was missing and asked her if she had seen it anywhere, thinking I must have misplaced it before I left. She acknowledged she had taken it, but didn't actually apologize, incredibly, and then it was a real struggle to try to get it back or at least have her send a replacement. After much persistence and pursuit on my part and quite the runaround on her part, she eventually replaced it, but I was a bit taken aback by her blasé attitude about taking it in the first place and then casual avoidance to resolving the situation. All very surprising, and an unfortunate disheartening footnote to the petsit. All that being said, she left my house very clean and tidy, and the kitties seemed very calm and content when I returned.

Karen took excellent care of Zorro...He could not be happier! Since it was a long term sit and since it was during the summer, Zorro had a bad case of the fleas. His flea collar and frontline treatment was not working. After communicating with us, Karen took the initiative to take Zorro to the vet for treatment. When we got home Zorro was happy and flea free.

We’re so grateful for the love and care Vanessa gave our two dogs while we were traveling for a weekend. During our trip, she sent us pictures and our dogs always looked happy and at ease. Even during a thunderstorm she cared for our scared older dog who unfortunately had a little accident, and she cleaned up with no complaint. We didn’t have to worry at all which let us truly enjoy our weekend away knowing our dogs were in the best hands! Vanessa was clean and tidy. We returned home to a neat house and happy pups! If you need a sitter don’t hesitate to pick Vanessa, I highly recommend her. She cared for our fur baby for two weeks and received the care and attention she needed. We came back to a very happy pup and clean home which is awesome after coming back from a long trip. I received texts and pictures of our dog while we were gone which gave us peace of mind. You could tell right from the start that she genuinely loves animals and will care for them as if they are hers. I will continue to use her as my pet sitter if she’s available. I was fortunate to have Lisa as a sitter for my active, 7-year old lab mix (Ozzy) for a week in Bend. Lisa took the time to meet us via Facetime and in person before her stay. It was apparent she wanted to be well-prepared and aware of any special doggie needs he may have, or any help I needed with watering plants or bringing in mail. She took great care of Ozzy while I was away and sent me regular updates and photos of their outdoor adventures. I returned home to a very happy dog and a house exactly as I had left it. Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.

To this list of attributes I would add flexible, capable, sensitive, extremely good with the dogs even if one of mine is sometimes a little ornery, and just a wonderful person all around. Because of constantly changing circumstances due to a move and coronavirus, my dogs ended up spending not two weeks but a whole month with John and they were so comfortable and happy. John helped them in so many ways and coordinated shipping them overseas, he went above and beyond the wildest stretches of what a house sitter entails and did it with a smile and a laugh and reassurances that all would be well. And indeed he was absolutely right - the dogs arrived so well cared for that all my fears of them being traumatized went out the window. John’s flexibility, and his kindness as well as his impeccable maintenance of my house in my absence all make me recommend him an absolute 10 out of 10. Thank you John for all your help this summer!! Angela was fantastic. She came a day early to meet us and our dog Bella and to get the lay of the land and we so enjoyed meeting her and getting to know her! She took care of our home and Bella with the utmost care and attention. She was great to communicate with throughout the sit and we felt confidant being away knowing our dog and home were in such good hands! Lori and Joe took great care of our two dogs and tow cats while we were gone. Our plans changed and we actually asked if they could come a day before we had originally planned to leave and they said no problem! They even stayed over on the night we got home so that we could meet them which was very nice! Lori was very good with communication before the house sit and also during the time they were here. She let us they had arrived safely and then sent us a short text or pictures every day of the animals. The house looked cleaner than when we left it when we got home!
