This was our first house/pet sit with @zeewoi and we were extremely pleased! Robert showed up when he said he would, he accommodated our timelines and our dog's scheduled routine. He left our home in excellent shape and we had a very happy, relaxed pup to come home to. It was important to us that Robert meet us via video chat or in person before we left and he went above and beyond. He sent photos of our dog, Cooper, and him throughout the sit and we could tell that Cooper was very happy with Robert. He responded immediately to our texts, giving him updates about our return. Communication is so important for making sure both the sitter and the house owners are confident in one another. Robert is very outgoing and friendly and we have 100% confidence in him to look after our home and our dog when we are away. We look forward to Robert providing another future home sit.
Maryna was an excellent pet sitter and houseguest! Communicating with her was easy, and she always responded to my messages quickly. She was also incredibly self-sufficient! Moreover, Maryna graciously agreed to check on my neighbor's cat for a couple of days as well. My dog bonded with her quickly and was happy and healthy when I returned. The house was also spotless. I would happily have Maryna sit for me again!
Marlen was such a blessing. We had another sitter cancel just a week before our vacation date so I was so relieved that she was able to step in at such short notice. She came to meet our pups a few days in advance so they would recognize her. While we were away, Marlen sent picture updates and made sure the dogs were cared for. So glad to have found someone like her to help us out.
Susan and Jim were exceptional pet sitters for our 2 pups and cat! From the start they were communicative and asked thoughtful clarifying questions that made us feel comfortable immediately. We spent time together the evening before we left for vacation and it was clear that they had read our welcome doc and instructions. They referenced animal behaviors that were noted and confirmed details. They arrived about an hour before we left and gave us all plenty of time to feel comfortable with being in our home. Throughout our vacation, Susan sent photos and updates of our critters and let us know how they were spending their time together. Susan was quick to respond to my messages via WhatsApp any time I reached out. Susan and Jim stayed at our house until we landed at the airport and let them know we were safely on the ground. They fed and walked the dogs and let us know they would be gone before we got home. It was great knowing that had our flight been delayed, they would have stayed at the house until we were safe driving distance away. We came home to a sparkling clean home, a thriving and happy garden, and well cared for animals! Susan and Jim left us detailed notes of their stay and even gave us lots of instructions on how to keep our garden happy! What a treat! All our linens were washed and replaced and the house was immaculate. Thank you Susan and Jim for choosing our home and furry family to spend your time with! You were the best first experience we could have asked for and would love to have you back again!
Cindy is an absolutely fantastic sitter and we feel very lucky to have had her care for our dog and our home whilst we went on our family holiday. Her communication before and throughout our sit was fantastic, and she even took our dog to the vet when he needed an unexpected checkup. She took great care of him and sent daily updates including videos and photos of their time together. We could tell that he felt very relaxed in her company. Thank you so much Cindy - it is a real godsend to have someone so kind and caring to take care of your pets and home and we would be delighted to have Cindy back again in future.
Joanna and David were wonderful sitters for our dog Broderick and our apartment. Before starting to sit for us they took time to come and meet Broderick which we were very appreciative of. During their time sitting for Broderick we got great updates every day and wonderful photos of our pup, and they were very responsive whenever needed. When we got back home we found a happy puppy, healthy plants, and a spotlessly clean apartment - they had even taken the time to wash sheets and towels and left us a kind thank you note. We would have them sit for us again in a heartbeat!
If you need a sitter don’t hesitate to pick Vanessa, I highly recommend her. She cared for our fur baby for two weeks and received the care and attention she needed. We came back to a very happy pup and clean home which is awesome after coming back from a long trip. I received texts and pictures of our dog while we were gone which gave us peace of mind. You could tell right from the start that she genuinely loves animals and will care for them as if they are hers. I will continue to use her as my pet sitter if she’s available. All I can say is she is a wonderful person!!
Duha was such a light to have in our home while we were away. She kept us updated with beautiful photos of our dogs throughout her stay and didn’t leave their side once. I’ve never felt so comfortable with any other sitter and I truly hope this won’t be the last time she sits for us.
Shannon and Travis stepped up at the last minute when an earlier sitter canceled. Shannon and Travis took care our our large brood of animals for two weeks while we were out of the country over the Christmas holiday. They kept us informed about what was happening with the animals and our home. Our dog Pepper doesn’t like most people, but loved Travis and Shannon immediately. I would not hesitate to welcome Shannon and Travis back for another sit. They are very honest and friendly people. Their dog Dime is also awesome.
Truly The Best House sitters Ever!!! Shannon, Travis and their son were absolutely terrific. I’m so lucky to have had the genuine pleasure of meeting them. Very warm, generous, open and loving people. My dog Wolfie usually barks at men who come in the house and I was a little worried about how he would be with Travis, but I had nothing to fear because within seriously 1 minute from Travis walking in the door, Wolfie was giving him kisses on the lips! I was so happy to receive their updates and photos and videos of my pets while I was away. They really went above and beyond taking terrific care of my many, many furry and feathered friends. When I got home, the place was sparkling clean, all linens laundered and beds made and they even left me sweet little surprises. I would welcome The Exums back with open arms anytime and highly recommend them.

I can’t speak highly enough about the team at Puparazzi! I felt so at ease leaving my pup with them and I know she was well cared for and had a great time. I will definitely be going to them for all my future boarding and day care needs! They also have great grooming services that left our pup soft and smelling great :)
My dog Soleil has been attending daycare at Puparazzi since June 2021 when she was 8 months old. I still remember being glued to the webcams at my office, and she's loved attending since. Attached are pictures from the beginning through now, some with friends whose names she'll even react to at home ("Want to go see Bella?" and "Clementine is waiting!" have both gotten her into the car immediately). Sometimes she went several times in one week, she used to always go for the free Sundays when those were offered or the months where there were $25 Tuesday specials too. A forecast of rain always called for indoor play too. I tested out an overnight stay while I was home and since then, she's boarded several times over the last two years. They're always extremely communicative of how she's doing, what friends she's made and any surprising behavior or training to work on. They've helped with watching out for her jumping to greet and pulling on walks. Her first month of daycare, she'd never lie down no matter how long she was in because she was so stimulated and ready to play. I'd even ask if they could give her breaks away from the other dogs so she didn't overdo it, and they did. I was thrilled when they sent me an update that she's taking breaks on her own and starting to nap. Now, she's much better at pacing herself in playtime. I've always been informed of any sign of feeling sick, and the one time she slipped on a play structure and they weren't sure if she was hurt I immediately got a phone call (They pulled her from play to wait for me so I could take her home out of precaution; she was perfectly fine). The team has truly been her second family and this daycare has been her second home. Her longest stay was when I was out of the country for a couple weeks, and the occasional groom (especially after their hikes--she's cream colored, but she loves mud). Sadly, we're moving out of state so she'll no longer be attending but we're grateful for these past two years and I've always been vocal about where she goes to daycare, encouraging others to check it out here.
My dog baby is a fan but the last time I picked him up, he was limping and one of his paws was red and irritated. I was able to resolve the issue when we got home with some medicated shampoo, but it would be nice to know there was an issue. Other than that, the staff is usually personable.
My dog Benji stayed here a week for boarding in the slumber party package. I appreciate the friendly staff, daily report cards with images attached, and the live cameras, but please note these live camera feeds are only during business hours and it’s only of the common areas, not the area they take your dog back to when they feed them individually. I have concerns on the accuracy and communication of the notes they take as staff. I received a call in the afternoon on Benji’s third day that there was some blood found in his vomit and they asked me if that was normal or if he has done that before. I’m a bit surprised for them to ask me if that is “normal” since blood in any dog’s vomit is not normal, but I do appreciate them calling to give me a heads up on the health concern. They asked me what I’d like to do and if I’d authorize them to take him to the VCA across the street if any of his symptoms get worse, but warned me that the bill would be pretty hefty. I asked if I could have some time to check if a friend or family member may be able to pick him up to take him to our vet’s urgent care appointment if needed. They said sure and that they’d continue to monitor him for any other concerning symptoms. I called them once more later in the day before they closed and then twice the next day, and each time I called it was a different staff member. One of them mentioned they just arrived for their shift and hadn’t had a chance to catch up on notes, but that he’d keep an eye on Benji. By the third call I could sense they were a bit annoyed by me checking in (which it would have been super helpful if they could have left notes on his health progress in the next report cards or called me back later to give me an update, instead of leaving me to worry and timing my check-ins while I was out of the country). I noticed his report card did show images of Benji’s vomit the day prior to their call, but they left no notes on that incident. They only took note of his vomit the next day when they noted he threw up twice with some blood in it. When I asked them about the photos of the vomit from the previous day, the person on the phone claimed Benji only threw up for one day hence why she’s calling me now (which clearly means someone didn’t pay attention to the photos they attached to his report card on the previous day and make note of it). I have to take their word for it that he didn’t show any other concerning symptoms since then, but I also checked in on the live camera once in a while to monitor his energy levels (also noticed his harness still on the whole time, which smelled like urine when I picked him up). I picked him up on his last day on Sunday but they didn’t give me a heads up they were behind schedule (I called in the morning to see if he’d be ready early and they told me his bath is scheduled for 11am he’d be ready by noon like my original request…so I waited for a call that he’s ready, but never got one so I called again later close to 2 hours after his original pick up time and they were like “Oh yes Benji JUST finished his bath and is ready!). At pick up when I asked how he seemed to be doing now after his vomit a few days ago, the staff member I spoke with seemed a bit unsure what I was referring to, but tried to assure me if they haven’t contacted me or noted it in his file since the call that he’s fine and his demeanor has seemed normal. Benji is now experiencing a lot of coughing and hacking up some mucus, which I assume he picked something up at Puparazzi since he’s only been back < 2 days. Might just be kennel cough, but the vet asked me to bring him in tomorrow in case to rule out anything else considering his vomiting incident from last week. He also has a collapsed trachea (which is noted in his file/profile), hence my concern whenever a potential health scare pops up for him, so my trust in the staff had waned over the week—it was frustrating to feel like I had to be the one to chase after them a little for updates when I was out of town and in a different time zone.
Can not be more EXCITED about Puparazzi! Anyone we speak to has been full of energy, positive and truly AMAZING. seeing our boys in the camera all day long, all the love they get, the perfect temperature in the room and again, AMAZING staff, I could not be more excited for future stays!!
You won’t find a better place to board your dog. They are very hands on & provide the best info in the report cards. The girls at the front are also fabulous! They really care about your dogs so after trying all the Westside boarding/doggie daycare spots, I can say that this is the best one with the best employees & best facilities. My dog Georgie is a bit needy but as shown below, they do really treat your dogs like their own. She is holding Georgie, which warmed my heart to see.
I recently joined Puparazzi and so happy I did! They are extremely welcoming and knowledgable. Checking out the webcam's is fun to check on your pup. I can tell my dog loves it there as she gets so excited when we pull up. The report cards are so cute to see how your pup did while they were there. Highly recommend.
My husband and I were I town for some business in La and brought the dogs along! We were looking for a place to drop them off so they wouldn’t be in our hotel all day and found this spot! They were extremely helpful with getting all the information needed from me to have them ready to go the next day!! The cameras to watch them made it stress free and they were wonderful with giving the pups all the love they needed. We will absolutely be using them again in the future for any trips back!
Puparazzi USED to be a great daycare location and the only daycare i trusted. The staff quality has gotten worse since a year ago. I have concerns and issues with their staff quality and care. Multiple times (i caught it on camera) they singled my dog out of the play area with no supervision because my dog tried to communicate with them for a quick potty break. My dog would bark at them directly to signal for a potty break (he doesn’t pee indoor at the play area) around 1:30-2 PM and I have told/instruct Puparazzi about that. The staff would not let him out but instead singled him out by having him wait outside the play area alone (see picture). I even have left notes on the website and reminded the staff that he would need a potty break around certain time. They didn’t seem to care. One of the staff told me that they didn’t have time to let dogs go potty outdoor!? Dogs run around and play and they drink water all the time to keep themselves hydrated, how could you only give dogs one potty break throughout the day or expect them to go potty inside the play area even if they’re potty trained? It’s quite inhumane in my opinion. I would not want any dog to be treated this way.
A Very Professional and Friendly Place.. My Dog Baby was Loved & well taken care of.. And she stayed in Suite “Christina Waguilera” LOL! SUPER CUTE 🥰🥰🥰🐶🐶🐶 …
This place is awesome! The staff are friendly! Our big dog, can't wait to go to daycare. He's excited to get out of the car every time he gets dropped off
We first started taking Duke to West LA Dogs in 2017, before he was diagnosed with epilepsy. They have since become our go to for boarding while I travel as well as daycare when we are in LA. I live in Ontario and have struggle to find a place that would take him in the area due to his “disability,” but the team at West LA has always been so helpful and supportive. On top of that, they are always responsive and quick to send updates on how he is doing. My mind is at ease knowing that he is in excellent caring hands with them! I highly recommend them with your dogs’ needs!
Always a favorite! My mid size husky has been going to West LA dogs for well over 4 years now. They are attentive, nice and take great care of her whether she’s there for daycare or extended stay boarding. The staff is knowledgeable and super nice!
Our dog Jason absolutely loves it there (it would seem). He always comes home happy (and thankfully exhausted). The staff is helpful, friendly, organized, and accommodating. Couldn't recommend it enough.
Their negligence hurt my dog! I was traveling overseas and boarded Daisy, my 55 pound English Sheepdog, with them. About a week later, I was texted by an employee saying that Daisy was hurt playing with another dog and needed to go to the vet. Their explanation didn't sit right with me bc I've seen her roughhouse with a LOT of dogs at the off leash park and never get hurt. As such, I asked for the video from their facility of when she got hurt. It was sent to me and just as I suspected, she was NOT hurt playing with another dog, but rather, WEST LA DOGS placed a large industrial hose IN the dog play area. Daisy was playing with another dog when her right paw came down on the hose. She broke her nail on the hose, was bleeding profusely, and limping around. They took her to the vet and the bill was $500 (pain meds, antibiotics, nail removal, casting, etc.). I asked Adam, the general manager of WEST LA DOGS, for reimbursement because the video was clear that an obstruction of any kind (including a hose) shouldn't have been placed in the play area. Adam in true bureaucratic form, denied responsibility and blamed it on Daisy! Unbelievable. I will never go back there!!!!
Fantastic service! My pup looked so handsome after his haircut and seemed like he had a great time
Good place for a one hour bath session for my aussiedoodle. She comes out clean and fluffy not to mention a short drive away to pick her up in Sawtelle!
On 11-17-17 I picked Mason up from West LA Dogs (located at 2251 Federal Ave., LA CA 90064) with a bloody eye ball. When he was delivered to me, I asked immediately what happened to his eye. NO ONE at the daycare saw that his eyeball was injured nor did they have any explanation as to how that could have possibly happened or when. After being examined by my vet, she determined that Mason had a severe hemorrhage/bruising of the left eye along with periorbital swelling which is most consistent with blunt force trauma (a blow to the head). I requested a meeting with the owner, he finally called me a few days later. He first stated that if his employees couldn’t tell me what happened to my dog, neither could he because he wasn’t there and there was nothing he could or would do about that. After informing him that both my dogs (Mason and 6 month old Samson) would no longer be going his facility, I requested a refund of my monthly membership which he did agree to refund. He then became angry and told me: Mason was a highly aggressive dog that has been attacking dogs since his fist day there. Let me tell you a little bit about Mason. Mason is a shy, quiet dog. There are many people who can attest to his quiet demeanor which is why the accusation that Mason is highly aggressive attack dog, is a BOLD FACE LIE. SECONDLY, Mason has had a paid membership at West LA Dogs for 10 months, beginning when he was 4 months old. IF my dog was a highly aggressive attack dog, why was he allowed to go there? Why had he never been labeled as aggressive before? Why was every single one of his daily reports overflowing with positive comments? Why was my monthly payment of his membership accepted? Why was he allowed to play with other dogs at the daycare? Why was he returned to me in a lobby full of people and other dogs on a daily basis? And above all that, why was I NEVER informed of this assessment of his behavior BEFORE I inquired about his blunt force trauma eye injury? I asked for video of the day Mason was injured and the owner complied. He sent me 3 videos labeled “Mason Attack Videos”. The videos are 10 – 20 seconds long and show nothing but dogs running around. One video goes blank and picks back up 4 seconds later. When I asked why that video cut out and for the full unaltered video, the owner became angry and accused me of falsely claiming that Mason is not aggressive. He further stated my claims that the footage was altered were “slanderous speculation.” I am EXTREMELY LIVID that Mason received this kind of injury with no action taken to inform me at the time it happened. I am LIVID that no action was taken to get him veterinary care before I came to pick him up that day. I am LIVID at the lack of compassion and care my dog received at West LA Dogs. And I am LIVID that the owner didn’t value my business relationship enough to take any responsibility for his and his employees’ negligence or offer any kind of apology, or concern for me or my dog. I am LIVID that the people I trusted my puppy with betrayed his and my trust. Needless to say, Mason is NO LONGER going to West LA Dogs. The fact that this is how the daycare and the owner handled this situation in such a bizarre, passive-aggressive manner lets me know that both my dogs are better off never returning there. I filed a police report with the LAPD Animal Cruelty Task Force. The LAPD did an investigation in which the expert opinion of the LAPD vet came to the same conclusion as my vet; that Mason’s injury was the result of blunt force trauma (a blow to the head). The LAPD then turned Mason’s case over to the LA City Attorney’s Office but due to the fact that they were unable to determine who at West LA Dogs was responsible for causing Mason’s injury that day, the City Attorney was unable to press charges. I had to wait to make this post due to the police investigation into Mason's case at the time of his injury. Attached to this review are pictures of Mason's injury.
The staff here is so amazing! My dog has been going here for a few years now, and he loves it. He gets lots of love, and I'm at peace knowing that he's always taken care of.
This place is a great dog day care. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. If your leaving your loved ones there know they are in good hands. They have more than enough staff to keep a good watchful eye on your pets. They look after your pets as if they were their own and are very attentive. They look for any small details. It's a great place for dogs to play and be social and safe without bringing home any bad habits or undesired afflictions. It's a top notch place. Highly recommend!!!!
The Wags Club has been a second home for our beloved 13-year-old, 90-pound golden doodle, Cruz, since he was a 2-year-old pup. Our relationship with The Wags Club began with daycare, and as we started traveling more, Cruz transitioned seamlessly into boarding. Every single member of their staff has a genuine love for dogs, and it shows in the care and attention Cruz receives every day. We travel frequently, but we never worry about Cruz because we trust The Wags Club implicitly. It's comforting to know that he's not just boarded but genuinely loved and looked after. The Wags Club goes above and beyond to ensure that Cruz is happy, healthy, and well-cared for. Their consistent and exceptional care has made them a second family to him. If you're looking for a place where your dog will be treated with love, respect, and the highest quality of care, look no further than The Wags Club. They're simply the best!
We love Wags Club! We have been bringing our baby for almost 2 years now & we couldn’t say more great things. The trainers are the best with her, they all know her personality & when we drop her off for both daycare & boarding we know that she is getting great care. Her favorite day is Pool day 😛 We pick her up & she is ready for bedtime (exactly what we as dog parents are looking for). Thank you Wags Club for all the care & love you do for our baby!
I have been bringing my dog Pinot to The Wags Club for 7.5 years! She is a rescue pit bull that is deaf and it takes her a while to feel comfortable with people and can easily be startled. I am so comforted to know I can take her to Wags, where they cater to her needs, and I know that she is safe and happy! She always runs in with a smile and comes home happy and tired. pinot spends a lot of time there between daycare, boarding and grooming. I highly recommend The Wags Club!
I'm Leo's mom! My fur kid is a 100 pound German shepherd/husky mix with a touch of separation anxiety and a lot of love to give. He loves to socialize, he likes to sleep uncrated and he's a sweet boy. The main thing I have appreciated about The Wags Club is their communication. They understand that pet parents worry and make sure to give the utmost care to our fur babies. I love how much fun Leo has there and how wiped he is when he comes home after all that play! Like all relationships, there are sometimes challenges. There was an incident with another pup that led to some worry on my part. There was open communication all the way through even when I was halfway across the country and I wasn't shamed by the staff for my panic. They did what they could to make sure Leo was okay and that I felt comforted as well. Resolution came swiftly and all you can really ask for is to have a place you can trust your pup will be cared for. -Leo & Danielle
I have been coming here for 11 years -- for a full decade, with my oldest girls, and lately with two new puppies. One of the pups was fairly anxious and skittish when I adopted her, and Wags has brought her out of her shell...she is now so excited to run through the doors to see her friends, and she's a hundred times more confident around other dogs when we're out and about. So grateful for the unwavering love and attention the Wags Club shows its dogs!
My dog and I love The Wags Club! They take such good care of my pup for daycare and boarding. I trust them to administer his medication every day and felt totally comfortable boarding him for a week while I was at an off-the-grid wedding. I recommend The Wags Club to all my dog-owner friends and couldn't be more happy with our experience.
My fur baby girl Lola used to be timid, needed to be spoon-fed or have someone stand by her to encourage her to eat, and only hung out with the handlers. Now, Lola is playing with other dogs, socializing, eating independently, and blossoming into her beautiful self. Since Lola has been at The Wags Club, she has grown into a confident young lady, all thanks to the attention, love, and care from everyone. If it takes a village to raise a child, then it took a great team at The Wags Club and all her fur friends to raise Lola. Thank you all for your continued love and care. Because of you, I can be anywhere, knowing Lola is being looked after by the best!
I have been very pleased with The Wags Club! The registration/approval process was easy and the people are friendly. They were so quick to recognize Charlie and me when we walk in after only a few weeks! Charlie keeps getting used to hanging out there too. At first she was a little apprehensive, but now she knows when she goes she gets cuddles and attention all day so she is very happy! Even though Charlie isn’t the kind to run around all day, she still comes home exhausted which is perfect. I also love their hours, that they are generally cage free, and that they have a relationship with a nearby vet in case of emergency. I’m thankful to have a great place I can trust!
I cannot say enough good things about Wags Club! I’ve been bringing my 3 year old, 130 pound baby here for almost a year now. Everyone knows her by name and gives her the biggest greeting when we walk in the door, which makes me feel so comfortable. She comes to daycare and boarding here and is so exhausted when she gets home, thanks for everything Wags Club!!
Our large dog has been a happy camper at Wags Club for the past 4 years. Whether day care or boarding, he is always attended to and in the best of care at Wags Club. I appreciate Wags Club is strict with vaccinations to keep all their clients healthy. Their boarding intake is thorough, so best to allow yourself some extra time for this process. All of our drop offs & picks are seamless and we are greeted with big smiles each time.
My pup Louie and I love Doggie Goddess! We have been going to the amazing women of Doggie Goddess for about a year now. Not only does Louie spend two days a week there, but he has boarded with them a few times as well. Each member of the staff is so kind, and I can tell they love my dog as if he’s their own. Regardless of the location, Louie comes home each day exhausted (in the best way) from playing and socializing with his pack! It’s incredibly special to find a business in which you can trust the staff to watch over an animal you love, especially one that is cage-free. Thank you to all the women who care for my pup while I’m unable to do so - you are such a huge and great part of Lou’s life!
Doggie Goddess is our dogs home away from home. They treat our mini schnauzer like family. Additionally they are extremely professional and go above and beyond. The facility is extremely clean and our dog has never come home sick after her visits at Doggie Goddess. Traci and her team are amazing. Definitely should recommended 10/10
Can’t say enough. My pup is always happy to see his pup friends and staff at doggie goddess. Everyone is so genuine and enthusiastic about spending time with all the dogs. This place is 10/10. By far the best daycare I have found in LA as they take care of my little drama queen as if he was their own.
We love doggie goddess and we won’t take our pup anywhere else. The level of care, love, and attentiveness Traci and her team give my pup is so apparent. My pup is always so tired after a day at doggie goddess because they play and enrich him!! We cannot recommend DG enough and always recommend them to our friends!
The amazing team of beautiful souls at this business are always sweet and fun; they go above and beyond to have a great time with all the pups. Couldn't recommend their services more. The hours are great. Their rates are worth it. And their location is pretty central from the Westside to mid City.
My dogs have been going to Doggie Goddess for 10 years. If I could give Doggie Goddess more than 5 stars I would. Traci and her team are amazing. The dogs are always supervised, there is a very balanced pack mentality so the dogs get to have a great time but safety and balance is always happening as well. Traci and her team know all of the dogs, their personalities , quirks and what makes them happy. My dogs can't wait to go there and their sleepovers are the best. There is someone who sleeps with the dogs( which I love). If you are looking for a safe, fun place for daycare and/or boarding, I highly recommend Doggie Goddess.
I truly would trust Traci and her team with my pup daisys life! They are the absolute best and Daisy loves them with her whole heart. They take the best care of all their pups and love them all like their own
We love the folks over at Doggie Goddess! Our pup enjoys his time there, and they are super active on socials - which means lots of pics throughout his stay!
I forgot about this place until I get an email from them, so let me warn future pet owners: The worker, Yadira, is a case in unhinged behavior. When I went to pick up my dog, I heard someone angrily yelling at the dogs to be quiet. This worried me so I started filming. From the moment this worker greeted me and opened the door, she had a nasty attitude, was rude, would not listen to my questions, and basically acted like an angry immature high schooler. I had to use de-escalation skills and try to reason with her. Luckily, she didn't see the camera, so I was able to record her behavior without her putting on a mask. She would not let my dog out for almost 4 minutes after I went to pick him up. While my pup whined to come out, she angrily told me that he had tried to snap at her AFTER SHE PULLED HIM BY THE COLLAR. When I asked her why she did this, because I've heard you never do that with a dog you don't own, she proceeded to give me more attitude, giving pseudo-explanations that made no sense. She even lied telling me she's told my husband about my dog having issues (My dog has never had issues at any other day care). When I asked my husband about this, he said he had no idea what she was talking about. She probably had the wrong dog in her deluded mind. I got a call from the owner that day to complain about me. After seeing the video however, the owner did apologize to us and told us Yadira just had a bad day. Unfortunately, I don't want to leave my pup with humans who act psychotic when they have a "bad day." That said, we decided never to bring out pup there where a crazy lady with rage issues will yell at the dogs and pull them by the collar whenever she wants just because that's probably the only time in her day she gets to feel some sort of power.
We’ve tried several L.A. area dog daycare and boarding centers for my high energy, XL girl and BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, we are happiest with Doggie Goddess. The owner and her staff obviously really love and understand all dogs. I feel most relaxed and assured that my baby is in good hands when I drop her here! No time outs or cages, just redirection, when needed! True Pros!
Urban Dog is the best along with their staff! Zina is so nice and patient, she's wonderful! She was so nice to my baby Spider Woman and she made sure to comfort her! Definitely brining my baby back when needed!
I have been bringing my dogs here for about 25 years. I always feel as though they are caring for my dogs as much as I would if they were with me. It is a family-run operation that really cares. It may be a No Frills environment however they keep the place very clean. I know I'm leaving my dogs in good hands while also allowing them time to socialize and get exercise. Urban Dog provides boarding and playcare for several well-known veterinarians so that endorsement alone makes me feel like I'm making the best choice available.
This place is great! Staff is very friendly and nice! I loved that Connor remembered my baby Beige and that just shows how great they are! Definitely using this place again!
Urban Dog is truly the best daycare/boarding facility in town! Me and my boyfriend rescued a high-energy 1.5-year-old Doberman about three months ago and she has some anxiety and leash reactivity that we're working through. I knew I wanted to find a place for her to play when we have busy workdays or go out of town. Dobby had done one temperament test before Urban Dog where she was brought out in a yard on a leash with 30+ dogs and she was very scared. I called Urban Dog to explain Dobby's personality and how that test went and they reassured me that they introduce other dogs slowly during their temperament test and go at the dog's pace. Kim and Zina were so patient with Dobby during the test and it went very well! Now, Dobby comes for daycare about 1-2 times a week and each time she gets more and more comfortable and playful. And I love that the staff truly cares about Dobby and her rescue/training journey. Thanks to Kim, Zina, Connor, Luke, and the rest of the UD team for looking after our girl!
My wife & I have been involved with Urban Dog for over 2 yrs, we love Kim & group, they take amazing care of our dog Denali, trust them explicitly. Just recently, Mercedes came aboard, trainer, very in depth background. Denali was having some anxiety, leash aggression, attacked by a pit bull about 7 months ago. Mercedes spent 2 solid wks, boot camp w/ Denali, attached at the hip, we did not see her, received videos daily(really well done) and texts on her development. She needed reprogramming. Mercedes is top of the line, interviewed several people & so happy we chose her. Denali came back to us completely rewired in a positive way, but of course the same, sweet, smart dog. We now follow Mercedes tutelage to continue the process. I can't say enough about Mercedes & her training. Neal & Margie Stevens/Walker
We've been bringing Rogie to Urban Dog about 4-5 days a week for the past 2 1/2 years since we rescued him, and I can only say great things about the place itself, the staff, and their philosophy on what it takes to give the best care for our furry family members. Our pup is very high energy, and plays like a hyper teenager - but the team knows how to handle him perfectly, making sure he gets the attention he craves, but also knowing when he needs some time to decompress. They've been able to establish a stable "pack" of friends for him with some other regulars, which is great. He always seems to be super excited to go and play when he gets dropped off, and when we pick him up he's definitely more mellow and balanced, so it's a win-win for everyone! Definitely recommend Urban Dog to anyone who loves their dog!!
Urban dog is absolutely the greatest. I recently got a rescue pup, and have been bringing him in here a few times a week when I’m at work. It really makes a rough day go easier when i can pull up the webcam and see Frank playing and having a great time at school. Kim is extremely knowledgeable and a tremendous resource for advice on training and everything else pet related. Frank absolutely loves going in, he has his friends he loves to see there—both other pets and staff alike. Erika always welcomes frank with lots of love and affection. Frank comes home good and tired, and they helped with his training so he’s a very well behaved pup now. It’s also great that if I ever need to get out of town, Frank has a place he loves to stay for a vacation of his own. I cannot recommend this place enough, if you’re looking for boarding or daycare for your pet please give urbandog a try.
My dog Hannah was a regular at Urban Dog in August of 2023. At first she was scared (being a new rescue dog) and wanted to run back to my car when I dropped her off, but soon she began to look forward to going and eventually got to the point where she tried to climb the gate to get back to the dogs and the staff when we arrived. The entire staff knew her name and kept her safe and I appreciated that very much. Thanks for caring for Hannah (my unique German Shepherd Dog)!
I have been taking my pup Howie to Urban Dog for a few months now, and cannot say enough great things about the staff and facility. I had just moved to the area with Howie, and started a new job. With a new environment and schedule, I wanted to provide my little guy some structure and a place I would feel comfortable leaving him while at work or away. I gave Urban Dog a call and Kim was able to meet us right away! She met Howie and answered any questions, and even gave a great vet recommendation. The care and thought put in to getting to know Howie and his personality was above and beyond, and very reassuring. Howie even got to stay for the first day for free to get to make sure it was the right kind of environment. After that first day I could tell he was comfortable and happy, and I have been taking him ever since. He gets so excited when he realizes where we’re going, and the staff always greets him with excitement and love. When I pick him up, he is so happy and content, and worn out from a fun day of play. Howie can be a bit energetic and a social butterfly, and the staff does such a great job tailoring the groups and play areas to make sure the dogs thrive. They make sure he gets the play and socializing he craves to burn off some energy, but also gets his time to chill. Howie loves Urban Dog and everyone there. It has been so good for him, and gives me peace of mind leaving him with people and at a place I can trust. They even have a webcam so you can check in and see how they’re doing. Thank you so much to Kim, Erica, and the entire staff for taking such good care of my guy when he is there, and treating him like family. I know he will continue to love it for a long time to come. If you are looking for a great doggy daycare, there is no better place than Urban Dog!
Kimberly and the entire staff at Urban Dog has been a godsend to my family. Our darling George (two years) despite being well socialized from a very young age is very shy with people, so much so that boarding has been an issue (by issue I mean it’s been impossible) because George doesn’t appreciate being approached by a human. Kimberly had a great attitude and believed George could get more and more comfortable and had clever ways of working around George’s emotional needs. Before we knew it George got comfortable being led by her around a leash - a huge mini victory. We just worked our way up to a four night boarding and George did great! We got to watch him on the cameras and saw him be cared for with respect for his boundaries. When we called to check in Connor was a sweetie and assured us we could call anytime. I’m feeling so relieved that we now have a place where we feel secure about leaving George. Thank you Kimberly (and team!)
BEST. DOGSITTER. EVER. I can’t recommend Vanessa enough! She is the only person I trust to leave my dog Delilah with, and truly treats Delilah as if she’s her own. Delilah absolutely adores Vanessa and gets so excited every time I say we’re going to “Nessa’s house”. Thank you Vanessa for taking such good care of our little girl!
Vanessa is absolutely wonderful with our pup! Her space is every dogs dream! She is very reliable, trustworthy, and truly cares for each and every dog as if they are her own. We love her!
Vanessa takes the best care of my energetic, stubborn, large breed puppy. He spends the day engaged and playing, learning manners, socializing with a small group of sweet pups, and using both mental and physical energy so he comes home happy and ready to sleep! What a difference from those doggie day care places where 50 dogs roam around bored and the handlers don't know the first thing about dogs. I trust Vanessa whole-heartedly and I don't worry at all when my puppy is with her. She is a gifted dog communicator. She sends photos and updates, and posts little photos and videos of the day on her Instagram so I can see him having fun with his new friends. My dog can get into trouble almost anywhere, chewing things or picking up berries or seed pods, and I have nothing to worry about with Vanessa because her space is totally dog proof! Highly recommend!
I am so very grateful for Vanessa. She is truly a lifesaver. Not only does our boy Moe love her, she also treats him truly as if he were her own. Moe has spent over a month with her when we went out of the country and I knew I didn’t have to worry because he is just as happy with Vanessa as he is at home. I know he gets tons of love, is kept up with top notch training, and gets to play and have fun with his friends all day long whether it’s for boarding or daycare. Moe goes several days per week for daycare and comes home wiped out and happy as ever. Vanessa has allowed us to have a dog and a life and I couldn’t be more grateful. Not to mention her help in training him has afforded us the experience of having a dog we can bring anywhere. I would recommend her as a pet sitter, day care owner, and for all of your dog’s needs.
Vanessa has watched our frenchie, Bodhi, since he was a puppy. When it comes to taking care and watching over our little guy - Vanessa is considered extended family. Professional, responsive, thoughtful and caring - look no further than Vanessa and her team for all your dog boarding needs.
Vanessa has been taking care of our pups (Berkeley and Busby) since they were puppies. They (and we!) absolutely love and trust her. The pups really enjoy their walks and Vanessa is really good about reinforcing training so they don’t pick up any bad habits. She is very communicative and is always so great about sending awesome pics. Highly recommend!
Vanessa is our dogs favorite person! Our dog gets excited about daycare now and when we bring her home she is exhausted from a full day of playing, walking and training. Vanessa is very accommodating and caring with her. We won’t take or leave our dog with anyone else
Our pup Niko absolutely loves going to Pups with Nessa... So much so that when he gets dropped off he runs in without saying goodbye. We've been sending our boy to her since before she started her business and so happy that she can now take more dogs in. She's so incredible with Niko and all the other dogs. He always comes back to us well trained and behaved ... and a little tired from all the fun!! She constantly post pics of the dogs on IG so you can check in when you miss your doggy. Don't hesitate and book with her now (She's getting popular and more busy!!)
Vanessa is the best! Only person I trust to watch my little Cappuccino. She takes care of him like he's one of her own and he always has such a great time with her. She takes amazing pictures too and always checks in with me.
The only ones I trust with my furbabies!! Pablo and Tito literally run into her house when they get there. It’s so hard finding the right person/people to love on your babies while you are gone but we are so thankful for Vanessa and mark. They are so knowledgeable and daycare is always structured making sure pups are safe. Highly recommend!!
We love K9s! The staff is so friendly and we always get a warm welcome from Azi in the morning. Most importantly our pup loves going to daycare here which is amazing and a true testament to the incredible staff. Can’t forget about the grooming available on site too, Todd does a great job. 10/10 recommend
They are the Best!! Every time we go out of town I drop our Luna off with K9’s. They take very good care of her and she’s happy to go back. They will give my dog exactly what I tell them to and even send you a picture and a paw report daily. I highly recommend canines only. Wouldn’t take Luna anywhere else.
Fantastic day care and boarding experience. My baby is loved, treated with kindness and respect. She always happy to arrive to spend a day playing.
Never have I ever taken my dog to a place where he is forced to sit in his own poop because no one is there to take care of him. My dog came here and was obviously treated bad. I’m glad I only brought him one day because I’ve been reading horrible stories on this place. Do better these are our animals and are a part of our family. I really hope you guys get your stuff together. I will NEVER be back.
K9 Tarzana was so awesome! But when they closed, and we tried to use this location, the staff was not nearly as kind or helpful. I'm sorry to say we lost such a great place for our pups.
Wonderful staff, very compassionate and knowledgeable. Lovely dogs of all breeds, sizes and shapes. I thoroughly enjoy my time here.
I'm so glad to have found K9s Only! Not only did they take the time to get to know my dog's personality to figure out what would be the best environment for him, but they were able to do so quickly! They knew right away that he preferred calmer dogs and really took care to set him up for success. I also really like how the dogs don't just play all day and instead get structured breaks throughout the day. You can tell the staff are well trained and really care about the dogs. The staff already remembered him after his first visit and welcome him so lovingly each time he comes in. It feels good to see him wag his tail and excitedly go to play with his friends, human and canine.
My dogs are there now. I signed up for the king luxury suite, but they are not providing the services listed. One person tells you one thing, and another person tells you another. No daily updates as promised, my dog was supposed to be in daycare, and he wasn’t so he tore up all his bedding. No manager yesterday, now they’re telling me I have to wait until tomorrow. I’m away right now, and they’re acting up because they know I’m not there. I’m sending a friend down there right now. I NEED A MANGER TO CONTACT ME ASAP. A woman named Ozi is talking in circles. If a hair is displaced on my dogs, I will go ballistic! Know that!! I’m writing this review so it will go straight to the manager and I’m looking up the owner info as well.
Very clean, lovely daycare, parking is easy, very professional and dedicated staff! Highly recommend. Our dog loves going there!
I have been bringing my Doberman to K9's Only for years. Honestly I don't know what I'd do without them, especially with a bigger dog. The staff does an amazing job, and my dog always loves coming back to K9's. There really aren't enough good things I can say about the team, from reception to the trainers and everyone who takes care of the dogs overnight. They're perfect for daycare or boarding for vacations
I send my foster pup to Lincoln Bark 2-3 times a week for daycare and boarding. I always get photo updates and know he’s always comfortable and well cared for by Carol and her team. It's clear that this is a 'dog-first, business-second' establishment, where the well-being of the pups truly comes first. Lincoln Bark is hands down the best choice for your pup!
I can’t say enough great things about Lincoln Bark! My dogs, Sunny and Philly, absolutely adore Carol. From the moment we walk in, they’re wagging their tails and ready to go. Carol clearly loves what she does and treats my pups like her own. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in a safe, loving environment while I’m away. Sunny and Philly always come back happy, relaxed, and even a little spoiled! Highly recommend Lincoln Bark for any dog parent looking for top-notch care.
Carol was so lovely and accommodating! Our pup loved his stay and they were flexible with pick up and drop off. Highly recommend for dog boarding!
I love Lincoln Bark! Mabel loves going there and is always so excited when we pull up. Everyone who works there is kind and truly cares about the dogs. Highly recommend them.
Carol and her crew are truly the best! Koda gets so excited for daycare at Lincoln Bark and I always feel confident when I have to board him. Love receiving videos/pictures throughout the day as well :)
Carol and her crew are absolutely AMAZING. I work full time and as a single dog mom I honestly don't know what I would've done without them! They are so flexible and caring... I definitely consider it my pups second home. Highly recommend.
This place was great! Very kind management, easy to arrange everything for our dog teddy, and we loved seeing photos of him enjoying the surroundings and other dogs. We used this for day care while we are on vacation in Santa Monica. Very reasonable price for a couple days. We’re taking him back already tomorrow.
Lincoln Bark is the best dog day care in LA which is why my dog has gone there for the past 6 years. What makes it so good is the exceptional owner who is a devoted dog person and so kind and her dedicated staff. They are totally dependable and my dog is always excited to be there. They send a video or pictures during your dog’s stay which is great too!
Lincoln Bark is awesome! I’m picky who I leave my dog with and Lincoln Bark passes all my tests with flying colors! It’s a great feeling to know that that I’m covered when I go out of town and need a sitter. I recommend Carol to all my friends.
I absolutely love Lincoln Bark, when my pup Biscotti first visited there she was very shy and hesitant to play with other dogs. By day 2 she was running around playing with other dogs big and small. Carol always sends me pictures and videos of her when she is boarding there. I tell everyone in the neighborhood about them and how great they are. The whole staff is so loving and awesome!
Love this grooming facility! Cheyenne is wonderful with my mini Goldendoodle. Sophie💕 everyone here is so friendly and professional. You feel welcome right when you walk in the door. And they’re so great with my little Sophie! I highly recommend West Dogs-Small Dog Building. All of their services are very reasonably priced. A+ …
Great facility with kind staff members. Our dog loves going here - you’d think he’s going to Disneyland every time. In full transparency, our dog has gotten sick a couple times after an extended stay, but we know it’s not unique to this facility - just the risk you run when boarding a dog. We put our dog on probiotics, and it seemed to help a lot. Either way, we’ll be continuing to use West LA Dogs for all our daycare and boarding needs!
I bring my small dog in for all day daycare, and he gets so thrilled as soon as we walk through the front door. He loves the staff and they treat him like their own. I like that they send me update photos throughout the day. He comes home happy every time.
This was my first time boarding my dog so I was beyond annoying asking for pics every day and they were so kind to oblige. My boy had the best time here and they went above & beyond putting cream on a small scab he had got before coming in there.
Our pup loved West LA dogs until they moved the small dogs to the new building. He seemed to be enjoying his experience less and less until one day we arrived and he started shaking and ran to hide under a chair. He was clearly in distress and didn’t want to go inside. The receptionist seemed annoyed by my dog’s obvious anxiety. I asked if there were any notes in his file about a bad experience, and she couldn’t be bothered to even look him up. There should be cameras to monitor whatever’s going on back there. I don’t know what happened, but he’s never going back there again!
Super sweet staff. Kind and gentle with my old man-of-a-pet. He got a report card after the temperament test which was something I didn't expect! A great, little surprise. When I have to go away, it's such peace of mind to have him board here. And, I love getting pictures! All around excellent experience.
The best! Only place my pup stays. Wonderful caring staff that shares great updates and they’re very fairly priced (a rarity in LA)
I’m grateful for West LA Dogs. Sunny loves, coming here and playing with his friends. It’s nice knowing he has a place to socialize while I’m at work.
Best experience with a grooming and daycare service ever. Stellar staff who are accommodating and eager to give your dog a good time!
My dog doesn't love boarding or other dogs, but he loves the staff here. I like that they have the small dogs separate from big dogs, as I think it stresses him out less.
