I can’t say enough good things! It was very last minute and Charlie was able to take care of our cat with update videos and texts! She came to our rescue and took care of our pet at our home while we were away and even spent some time with her and gave her some good company. Charlie is very sweet and loves kitties! I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.

Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙

Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!

Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!

They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. I highly recommend her; she is amazing!

Highly recommended! Mark is great with dogs - walks and training. He really helped my dog learn how to not pull on the leash and to interact with other dogs safely. He has been very consistent with dog walks and has worked with my ever-changing schedule.

We traveled from San Diego to LA for a concert and planned to leave our two pups in our room. Although, our hotel allowed pets they did not allow us to leave them unattended. Mark was very flexible and accommodating on such short notice. We met him within 30 minutes from contacting him and felt like we could trust him to watch our babies. This is Cyrus's home away from home. We recently lost our other dog, Peter, and Cyrus was showing some separation anxiety (totes new), so we took him to Ruff Haus instead of our usual house sitter. Cyrus had a great time with the other dogs, and the humans too. I got daily pics or videos. They even washed him when his feet got a lil dirty! I have only praise for Ruff Haus!

Staffed by the sweetest and most caring people, and our sweet little senior pup always comes home happy and completely tuckered out. They’ve been super accommodating when we’ve asked to make a last minute booking, and we just always know we’re leaving our dogs in good hands. I love the quality of service here. They have cameras in their play areas so that you want watch your dog playing with the others. They're good at matching dogs by their personality. Our puppy was still in the early stages of socialization, but I've been able to see him improve so much under their care. You can also see how excited all the dogs are when the staff interacts with them. It's easy to get a report card during the visit and they even include pictures and videos. They also do day care at a reasonable price. I will definitely continue to use them again when we travel in the future.

Our dog loves this place. She is so excited every time we come and the entire staff knows her by name. It’s farther for us then other doggy daycare’s but has been worth the drive to always know that my dog is being well taken care of!

This is the third daycare I have tried with my dog and is, by far, the best overall experience I've had. I am never worried when he is there. I know he is safe and cared for (and getting belly rubs!). I trust they will call me when they need to, and they are seriously the only team that has gotten my dog to sit for grooming! The staff is so kind and the owners are very present. I appreciate so much that they have cameras (my first daycare did not and it was horrible in the end). I'm thankful every time I take him there and he is returned to me happy! I am so glad he has friends there- both canine and human. Honestly, I don't know what I would do without them.

Not great service lately, watching on live camera. My dog was running around among other dogs, in a room for hours. There was pee and poop on the floors, dogs were nervous and seem to be stressed. My dog was returned back with dirty poop covered paws and no apologies were expressed

This has been by far the BEST boarding experience for my 2 fur babies! They're so kind, super easy & flexible when booking a stay. From the owner, Roland, to all of the staff members, my dogs feel loved and safe. I can tell from their moods when I pick them up. The location is always clean and I can monitor my babes, 24/7 on a web cam. This gives me so much calming relief when I leave them! I'm so glad a friend recommended them to me!

My dogs loved Pet Rush Inn! Why? Because they have a SAFE, enclosed environment to play non-stop, fun activities, loving attendants - almost better than home! The remote camera is also great when you are on vacay. Daycare and grooming can be a godsend! The owner, Rene, loves taking exceptional care of the animals in his care and it truly shows! My dogs gave it 8 paws up!

I love Pet Rush Inn! I first found them online when I tried to find a daycare for my new dog from the shelter, Belle. I was nervous because she has anxiety, but the staff handled her so well! She has opened up so much more and is more confident! The staff truly care about pets. They have been so great about tailoring to her needs and kept me posted about her when she was first boarded. I feel comfortable when my baby is in their hands. Special shoutout specifically to Kevin and Priscilla!

So happy we brought our dog Coffee and cat Moose here. They are so awesome with animals. So patient with dogs that have anxiety being around too many dogs - they gave her lots of human love instead. Moose was happy also. Highly recommend these guys! They treated our babies with lots of love!! I also loved they report card, photod and videos!!

Our dog has anxiety issues and needs a gentle hand. We didn't expect to find such a welcoming place for him to spend the day while we are at work. The staff learned our names within the first week. They learned our dog's behavior and worked to make him comfortable and happy. Now he drags us in! (And he's not just there for the treats)

Rene and his staff are excellent! My Munchee loves it here. This is the only place I use when we're in Los Angeles. The dogs get a lot of 1 on 1 attention from animal lovers in a safe environment. I can't wait bring her back next time we are in town. They also offer grooming. The location is super convenient. If your pet is your baby, you need to be going to Double Dog!

The staff cares so much and I’m always appreciative of the care and attentiveness they give to all the dogs in their care. They are incredibly flexible, always willing to work with your needs, and there is a live cam for you to check on your furry friends while they are staying over!

I’ve been taking my dog for daycare there since she was a puppy. She is now a happy 1 yo and loves it there and always gets excited when she knows we’re going back. I’ve also used they’re boarding services for up to 5 days at a time. The staff is very caring and the facilities are clean. I will continue to go back as I know my pup is being cared for and loved by all.

Love this facility and so does our pup! Diesel has stayed here several times already whenever we go on trips or have parties at our home. This is an excellent dog care facility owned and run by amazing people! We've used their day care, boarding, and grooming services for years now, and our dogs enjoy their visits there. We also love the fact that they have live feed video cameras in several places throughout so that you can "visit" your pup when you're away and watch them playing in the common area. Hesby Pet Care is great! Sera and Dan were very responsive via email and text when we were making dog walking arrangements for my 8-month old puppy. Dan was reliable and helpful when I was out of town for 2 weeks. He always let me know when he was on his way, provided a recap of the walk, and sent me lots of photos of my pup! It was my first time being away from my dog for more than a day or two, so it was a big relief to know that she was in good hands. I would not hesitate to hire them again and would happily recommend them to anyone else.

I can't say enough positive things about Sera! We've been using Hesby Pet Care in North Hollywood for about 3ish years now for daily walks and overnights when we're out of town. We have 3 dogs, and they can be a bit of a handful, but Sera has always just loved on them unconditionally with no complaints, even when they cause trouble. When Sera walks our boys, we receive updates as to when she's arriving, what business they did and she always includes pics. When we're out of town, we get lots of text updates and tons of videos and pics. We've had some pretty unreliable sitters before, but Sera goes above and beyond for her clients and I am so grateful to have found her as she is truly a wonderful pet sitter and dog walker! The pic attached was when I came home early one day and found Sera carrying our dog down the street after he stepped on a bee and refused to walk (he's a bit of a baby).

Julia is the best cat sitter we have ever had. Our cats loved her and I could tell how much she loved them and cared for them as if they were her own babies. We had a great experience with LA pet sitting! Our pet sitter was Emily and she took great care of our two cats while we were out of town for the week. We had a wonderful experience with LA Pet Sitting. It was the first time we had ever left our cat for more than a night, so we were a bit nervous about the trip we were taking. Luckily for us everyone at LPS were so professional and understanding. They took care of our cat perfectly, and gave us daily updates with pictures, so that we could always know our little guy was safe and sound in their hands. I also love that it's a local business instead of an app. It gave me extra comfort knowing that this business has been in the area for a decade+, serving the community. I couldn't recommend it more. My husband and I are quote OCD about our pet care. We basically left a booklet with detailed instructions to care for our four fur babies. These instructions were emailed to our sitter directly so she can review and ask questions before our time away. We couldn't be happier with the services Julianne provided for our pets. I was truly happy with her services and my four cats seemed happy too! I loved seeing pictures of my cats looking so happy and playful. Two of my fur babies have high anxiety and one is mildly feral, but she gave them their own space and allowed them to warm up to her on their own terms. Our oldest cat, 18, has separation anxiety and doesn't like being alone, so I really appreciated the extra attention and care she gave to him. He is also on a prescription diet but loves to sneak up on my other cats' food bowl. She was very vigilent and assured he stuck to his own bowl to prevent advancement with his kidney disease. I engaged LA Pet Sitting shortly after to moving to LA with my 3 cats and my dog. My work had unexpected travel and I was able to communicate via the web portal and get an intake visit pretty quickly. I was impressed with their system and the thoroughness of their information collection. An in person visit to meet the pets and go over feeding and medications was very well done. Alexia was attentive and great giving meds and following specialized feeding instructions. One of my cats has a bowel disease and caring for her is not easy. The updates were reassuring while I was away and in my opinion this could not have gone better. I would absolutely recommend them.

Sinead was great! She cleaned up a couple of messes the kitties made, brought in packages, and wrote thorough reports on how each cat was doing every day. I have been using LA Pet Sitting for years to take care of my three cats. All of the sitters I have used have been wonderful - reliable, personable, and caring towards my pets. They take time to sit with my cats and play with them, as well as to write detailed notes on their activities. I know my cats appreciate the extra attention, and I am relieved to be able to go on vacation and not worry about their welfare. I will continue to use LAPS, and I highly recommend their company to other pet owners, as their prices are reasonable and their staff is professional and dependable.

Renata and Rebeca are amazing!! We left on a 10 day trip and we were anxious about leaving our dogs. With Marge (our new rescue), the thought of boarding her was depressing since she was fresh out of the shelter and just getting used to being in a home again. Rio Pet Hostel provided a comfy, more personable alternative to boarding. First, we did a meet-and-greet where we met Rebeca, Renata, and their pup Mandy outside their apartment. We then went into their place so Kevin and Marge could explore the environment. Kevin and their dog Mandy immediately started playing (Kevin usually doesn't play) so we knew it would be a good fit. The apartment is extremely dog friendly, complete with a dog teepee, pet-safe balcony and lots of toys. We asked lots of questions- the dogs are never left home alone, and Rio Pet Hostel is comfortable administering medication (Marge was fresh out of surgery when we had to leave so that was key). They also love bringing the dogs outside to the dog park or beach, so they aren't just sitting around with zero stimulation. When we picked them up, they gave us 2 printed photos of our dogs from their stay and a little gift bag of dog treats! It was so nice and adorable!! They are extremely flexible with pick up/drop off times, and the ability to pay via venmo makes things super easy. While on our trip, we received daily updates consisting of amazing photos and videos. It was reassuring to see that we left our dogs in great hands. I've attached some of the amazing photos we received from Rio Pet Hostel while we were away. They are seriously stunning- I don't think we will ever do regular boarding again. Rio Pet Hostel also provides daycare, dog walking, and home visit services. Check them out- you will not regret it!

Rio Pet Hostel Hollywood is a GEM! I can't believe I am so lucky as to have found them. My dog Daisy loves them - she gets excited every day/time she comes over! And she is one tired pup when she comes home from all the fun she has! I always get adorable pictures and videos so I know what Daisy is up to, since I miss her when I'm away! The girls always work with my schedule to help me out, and I appreciate them so much. I hope I never have to find another dogsitter ever! Rio Pet Hostel is NUMBER 1!!!!

I love my pup Anya so much and would only leave her with people I really trust. I’m so glad I found Rio Pet Hostel. Renata and Rebeca are so sweet with her and are great about sending pictures, videos, and text updates. Anya is a bit timid around other dogs and I’m glad we have Rio Pet Hostel to look after her when I’m away and also give her a chance to socialize with other dogs in a safe environment.

This place is AMAZING! I’ve had my little pup stay with them overnight for one day all the way up to 9 days when I went out of town. The ladies that own this business are nothing short of living miracles! They have accommodated me on short notices and when travel plans changed. They keep in direct contact with you through your pet’s stay with photos, videos, and text updates. They even gift you a little bag of treats when you come to get your little one. My pupper loves it so much there that she doesn’t seem to want to leave when I come to pick her up! 15/10 will use this place again! No need to look any further than Rio!

Renata, Rebeca, and Mandy took fantastic care of our dog, Dipper, with all their hearts, bringing him in like one of the family, if only for just the weekend! Everyday was filled with photos and videos of Dipper popping up on our phones for our own peace of mind. Dipper had a great time and came back to us as his happiest self. They even gave us a professional photo of him and a treat to go! 5 stars is not enough!

These girls are literally my lifeline. My dog (Maus the grey Whippet) is my most precious thing in my life and as I go away for long stints for work (most recently over a month) I need to have piece of mind that she is being beautifully cared for. Maus can't wait to go back because it's way more fun with them than with me!!! They take her in as part of their wonderful family and for that I am eternally grateful. Their prices are so reasonable and what you get is literally beyond measure. Maus always comes home looking happy, healthy and content. I couldn't recommend the Rio pet hotel highly enough. We’ve been sending our pup here for over 4 yrs, and it’s been the best! The pick-up and drop-off service makes it so worth it, and on top of that, the guys who look after our dog are just the nicest and sweetest with her! I have a reactive (insecure) puppy that had been in 1:1 training for a few months. He was still very fearful of other dogs, and I reached out to Whitaker to try to get him more socialized. The evaluation was super quick, and he started day care the next week. Britt is great with scheduling and communication. I got updates about how he was settling in, and the pick-up drop-off service is fantastic. I decided to board him over the Thanksgiving holiday and he looked so happy in all of the photos they shared. To be honest, I feel like he was a little disappointed to come home. While he was there, Aimee groomed him for the first time and took so much care in getting Gus Gus to be comfortable. I can’t rave about the staff enough. I’ve seen a complete 180 in how he greets and plays with other dogs. If you’re considering Whitaker for a shy dog, I highly recommend!!

Whitaker dog day camp is the absolute best! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Our boy always comes home happy from his time there - we cannot overstate how much we appreciate Ethan and his team for taking care of our dog. Everyone is so nice and responsive, and one particular moment that stuck with me from one of his boarding stays is when the drop-off team member said "I played with him myself!" Having come from a daycare that leaves the dogs in a room to play with each other, this meant the world to me, as the folks at Whitaker take care to spend time with the pups and get to know them as well. They are also very responsive, and reply to any message I'll send them as soon as possible, as well as being accommodating. We greatly appreciate everyone at Whitaker, and look forward to more fun stays for Bonsai! :)

We’ve loved Whitaker while living in Echo Park. Our dog can be territorial but was always so so excited whenever he saw the Whitaker van roll up for pickup. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend more!

Everyone has been so caring and helpful in helping to socialize my dog. She hadn't really been around other dogs and she's been having the time of her life at daycare and when she stays overnight with Whitaker Dog Day Camp. The best doggy day care in L.A!! Our dog, Bodhi has been going to Whitaker Dog Care for over a year and we love Ethan's services including dog boarding. The pick-up and drop-off is the most convenient! We now have a second dog and started sending him with Ethan as well about two months ago. They both come home happy and exhausted! Ethan is an amazing dude with a passion for dogs. He and his team have been taking care of our Border Collie since he was a puppy and they have a great bond. After some bad experiences with other boarding facilities, we always look forward to having Ziggy go with Ethan because we can trust him to take personalized care of our little guy. The pickup and drop-off is a huge bonus and takes a lot of stress out of leaving town. Highly recommend Whitaker if you live in the Frogtown / Silverlake area!

Whitaker Dog Day Camp is simply the best doggy day care in the area. Their professional staff and stimulating environment provide much more than just a place to park your pup when you're at work. Our dogs Ava and Peep are always excited to see their driver in the morning, and always return happy and exhausted. Peep especially has been transformed by his experience with the pack at Whitaker. He's an anxious Chihuahua mix who never liked anyone, but we really see his socialization developing! We are so excited to see more locations opening, so that more pet owners can experience the Whitaker touch!

I go to Paris very often and spend several weeks there. At this time, someone needs to take care of my dog. I used to just leave the dog to my friends, but I noticed that Ralph doesn't want to be there - he whines and tucks his tail every time. So I started looking for a good daycare. One friend recommend Whitaker Dog Day Camp. I was not disappointed - they have really great staff who love dogs and know how to take care of them. My Ralph is just happy, thank you!

I don't really trust different boarding facilities, because I had negative experiences in other places. Those employees were very incompetent and also behaved rudely. However, Whitaker Dog Day Camp really impressed me. This team is really very professional, my dog always comes home happy and tired because he plays with other dogs a lot. I also like the fact that the dog can be left even for a long time - I sometimes travel around Europe, this is important for me. Thanks a lot!

I have a chihuahua. I love my little girl, but I can't take her on trips with me - it's too stressful. So I need someone to take care of her. However, I was worried whether such a small dog would be able to make friends with large pets. But everything was perfect - I saw that my dog was having fun playing with other doggies. I have an old German shepherd called Archie who is developing neurological issues and because of that he needs help walking to prevent him from falling. He`s such a gentle soul and I really wanted to find the best dog boarding for him when I was visiting my family in another state. Jeremy from Whitaker Dog Day Camp took really good care of him, Archie was warmly welcomed to the daycareand got enough attention from the staff.

I am very thankful to Mark, Ethan and the team of Whitaker Dog Day Camp for doing a great job caring for our puppies (I have two). I was so worried to trust someone with them, thinking about all the things that can go wrong, about neglect and so on. But we`ve been bringing the pups to the daycare for almost two months now and always pick them up very happy and well-fed.

I like how organized the work in this dog care is - the staff knows how to work even with unsocialized dogs and quickly turns them into very friendly pets. This is exactly what happened to my boy - he is no longer afraid of strangers and other dogs. He even stopped barking at the neighbor's cat! And also, I appreciated the cleanliness inside the daycare, as well as in the yard. I really appreciate your work Ethan, five stars!

I really like how they take care of my puppy. When I want to visit like my Annabelle, I can always check the updates. She is quite capricious, it can be difficult with her. But I see that she is always excited when Britt comes for her. I also have a flexible schedule at work, I am not always comfortable with the usual time. I'm glad this dog daycare is ready to change the time of pick up. Thanks a lot!
