Animal lover and adventurer
An easy, low maintenance, smooth sit - exceptionally thorough at following instructions and respecting house rules. Allisen left my house cleaner than when I left, and my cats were calm and well cared for. Allisen followed all instructions and reached out when needed. Allisen is the first sitter who actually sent me a photo of my cats daily as I requested. Highly recommend.

Adventurous, Traveling Sitter
Brianna was a perfect pal for our pup while we were traveling! She communicated well before, during, and after the sit - making time for a video call, sending photos while we were away, and leaving a thoughtful note at the end of the sit. Other than a very happy pup, we could hardly tell Brianna was here - everything was tidy when we returned. She was lovely and I’d recommend her to anyone!

Cat took wonderful care of our cats and the house. The Ziggy and Lazlo didn't seem to know we were gone. Cat sent us *incredible,* calendar-quality photos every day and left our home spotless. We'll be fortunate to have Cat back again!

FT animal loving digital nomad. Flexible to accommodate your travel/pet needs
We were fortunate enough to be able to schedule Josh for a second time to house sit and take care of our pet. As before, Josh was super attentive and responsive. He coordinated with us regularly, and sent pictures of Gilbert nearly daily. When we returned, the house was clean, all the sheets and towels had been taken care of, and Gilbert was healthy and happy. We can't recommend Josh highly enough - if you need a house sitter you should pick Josh if you can. You'll be able to travel with peace of mind, knowing that your home and your pets are in super-capable hands.

Howdee!! We are Sam and Rachel from Nashville, TN
Sam and Rachel were wonderful. They communicated well, were warm and helpful, and loved our cat and dog. They provided updates on the animals, the mail, and any odd things that happened (dehumidifier not working, our car getting a ticket) and helped us work through the issues from a distance. They took care of one episode where our dog had diarrhea, which needed clean up and a trip to the vet. They kept the house clean. They were able to adapt when I needed to come home a day later due to a death in the family. I would trust them completely. I should also mention that this is the first time we have had a house sitter with their own dog. It turned out to work out very well, as Plankton became good friends with both our cat and dog. I super highly recommend Sam and Rachel.

We are the Woodall family--a Travelling Trio. Lucky to Live. Laugh. & Love
Christina, Traylor and their family were great. Flynn, our dog, was not feeling well the first day and wasn't eating his food, so they spent a lot of time trying to help him, really giving the extra attention he needed. I loved receiving pictures and videos and enjoyed watching the kids play with him outside. We came home to a super clean house with sheets and towels either put back on the bed or in the wash. We would definitely recommend Christina and Traylor!

Experienced horsewoman, dog mom, and cat lover at your service!
Lauren took excellent care of our pets. One of my dogs is small and not very trusting- by the end of the week Lauren was holding him in her arms. She is very knowledgeable about horses as well. My house was just as I had left it when I got home. Great sitter.

I am available to care for your pets and home.
I can’t say enough about Anita. I’ll start with the important adjectives first; in order of importance, of course. She’s warm, friendly, genuine, kind, sweet, responsive, responsible, punctual, and very neat. Anita went above and beyond, coming to town early to meet me in person and to let my dog meet her with me there. When I got waylaid at the airport for five hours, she postponed her departure to make sure Charlie (said dog) got fed. That’s Anita in a nutshell. Plus, she sent me pics and updates on the regular. She even took amazing care of my precious plants. Look no further. Anita’s got you covered.

An attentive sitter who wants to keep your pets, home, and you happy.
Megan was fantastic in every way possible!!! SSuch a
Kathleen was a fantastic sitter and Olive and Noodle miss her already. She was great about sending pictures and updates - never had to ask anything, she always beat us to it. She didn't assume anything that wasn't clearly stated - always asked us beforehand. She was great with our dogs - they immediately bonded with her and didn't want to leave her side. We really appreciated being able to go away and not worry about our pets' welfare, we knew immediately they were being so well taken care of. We hope to host Kathleen again soon!!
Marlen was such a blessing. We had another sitter cancel just a week before our vacation date so I was so relieved that she was able to step in at such short notice. She came to meet our pups a few days in advance so they would recognize her. While we were away, Marlen sent picture updates and made sure the dogs were cared for. So glad to have found someone like her to help us out.
Anita was a wonderful dog sitter for Balto! They were super tentative, made sure to ask any and all questions before we went away, and they sent the best updates about Balto while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing my dog was in great hands, and I could not recommend Anita enough! Quality care, and our apartment was spotless when we returned home.
Cleo is a very lucky puppy dog to have been cared for by Matt & Lisa! We’ve had quite a few sitters over the last 2 years with TH, and I have no reservations saying that they were the best! First, communication was fabulous from the start. They put me at ease before they ever got here. Throughout the sit, there were regular updates and pictures. They were so very attentive to Cleo, and even ventured out with her on trail walks (Cleo’s favorite thing in the world). They handled her medications with no problem. It was obvious that my nervous pup was at ease and loved them, as she ended up sleeping with them! I’d have Matt & Lisa again in a heartbeat, and would recommend to anybody!
Our dog loved Angela, as did we! She was friendly, efficient, handled our large, happy bernadoodle effectively and with love...we could not have asked for a better dog sitter and would be happy to have her back.
Cristina is simply the best house/pet sitter that we have ever had. She is responsible and dependable and an experienced dog owner. Our Wheaten, Bridie, adores her and misses her when she leaves.
Robyn was a great pet sitter and house sitter. She went way over and beyond my expectations!!!! She sent a photo of her and my dogs and they were looking at her like they were in love. And my cats are not very friendly, but she won them over also. I would highly recommend Robyn as a pet sitter and house sitter. She is a very sweet lady. I would love to have her watch my babies again and again.
Lori is the best of the best! I would recommend her 100 times over! Lori is great at communicating and our dogs were extremely happy. She was very attuned to our dog’s anxiety and did a great job making the dogs feel safe and loved. The house was spotless when we returned. Lori also had the job of taking care of my numerous plants. I have to say the plants look better when I got home than they did before I left😂 Lori has a green thumb. Lori is so kind and just a wonderful person. Rest assured if you choose her as your sitter your dog and home are in the best hands. Thank you again, Lori! Blessings!
Christina is the best house and pet sitter that we have ever had. She leaves the house immaculate. She is independent, reliable, and totally professional. Communication is excellent. In terms of pet care, Christina is special. I think that she is a dog whisperer. Bridie, our crazy Wheaten, adores her and is sad when she leaves.
Alia is truly the most wonderful, loving and kind dog sitter I have used. My husky LOVES her. Not to mention whenever I travel and return home, my apartment is neat and orderly. She even baked a treat for me on my return! I highly recommend Alia. She has sat for me several times and I can't wait to use her again. Thanks Alia! Me and Grey love having you:)

My dog gets anxious while boarding and requires medication. When I bring her home from boarding, she's either amped up or extremely tired. I boarded her at Yardstick Berry Hill recently, and when we got home she hopped up on her chair like any other day. She wasn't tired, or amped up coming off her medication -- just her normal self. I took this to mean she rested well, got enough play time, and most importantly, was comfortable at Yardstick. This is a big deal for her! Checking in and checking out were easy. I appreciated the texts and photos I received while my dog was boarding. The staff are great and their interactions with my dog reassured me that she's getting good care. We will definitely be back.
Yardstick was amazing! This was our first time boarding our dog, and the Yardstick team made it so easy. I really appreciated the daily pictures and text updates so I knew our girl was doing well and having a good time. We will definitely be sending her back to Yardstick for daycare and boarding in the future!
I cannot recommend Yardstick enough!!! We’ve been traveling with our dogs for years, not wanting to leave them in a boarding facility due to one of our girls being extremely anxious around other humans. The yardstick staff and the system and facilities they use is so well set up and perfect for our girls — they know exactly how to handle my anxious girl and make her feel as comfortable as possible. They send updates and pictures throughout the day that show how wonderful my pups are doing. The suites are lovely, the small group play time method with the multiple outdoor and indoor play areas is perfect so that any type of doggy can get play time outside of their suite without being overwhelmed. Plus, they have treats you can order and grooming services too. We will always use Yardstick for boarding and feel at ease.
My original dog sitter that I had fell through and I called Yardstick. They were able to board my two dogs for four nights last minute and everything from drop off to pick up was incredible! I get very anxious leaving my dogs, but they provided daily updates (2-3 times a day) and answered any question I had over text! Best place and best staff ,so glad that I found this place! Also as you can tell in the pics, my dogs were SO happy!!!
The BEST! Check in was very easy and the staff is very nice, sweet and helpful. Dropped off my dog for a 1 night stay and one of the staff members sent me pics of my dog at playtime. That was very nice of them and see my dog was having a great time! Will definitely be back!
**Review for Yardstick Dog Hotel - Berry Hills Location** Yardstick Dog Hotel at Berry Hills has been our go-to place for our 2-year-old Samoyed, and we couldn't be happier with their service. The care they provide is exceptional, and our girl loves going there every time. The daily text message updates and photos give us peace of mind, knowing she's in good hands. The location is super convenient, especially being close to the airport, making drop-offs and pick-ups seamless before and after our flights. We love Yardstick Dog Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving place for their furry family members!
I set up a visit for my dog Lulu to stay 5 nights at Yardstick Berry Hill while I was attending a wedding out of town. The process and interaction with the staff was very professional. They met my needs with kindness and clear answers were given to all my questions. My daughter-in-law and I were given a tour of the facility which was clean and so well kept. We were able to see the area were Lulu would stay and areas were she could play. I really liked that there would be staff on site over night as well as during the day. This was the first time I had ever boarded my dog and I was alittle anxious about leaving Lulu, but it was just an awesome experience for both Lulu and me. I received pictures and text from the facility everyday and because they were open on the weekends I was able to pick up my Lulu on a Sunday when I arrived home. I highly recommend Yardstick service to all dog owners and will be using their services again for both day time and overnight visits. Thank you Yardstick for taking such good care of my girl Lulu. I have been apprehensive of putting my dog in daycare because of the horror stories I’ve heard, but Yardstick has flipped the script. The staff is friendly, they send pictures and texts updated throughout the day which eases my dog mom mind, the facility is clean and well organized. I do not have one worry when I drop my dog off at daycare and she’s always very happy when I pick her up. I also love that they have a schedule throughout the day to give them a mix of play time and rest time unlike other daycare centers. They even have cute little puppy treats you can give your dog while you’re away by just sending a text! I would 100% recommend them for daycare! I’m sure their boarding program is amazing too, but I have not yet used it.
My dog (and I) had a great experience with Yardstick! New to the area and was clueless on where to have him stay - Yardstick was highly recommended and lived up to expectations! Stanley came home SUPER happy and I LOVED the multiple text updates with photos every day. Hate leaving Stanley but so grateful to have yardstick nearby!
Brodie loves visiting Yardstick. So happy we found a boarding facility that takes great care of our dog. He’s an older dog that doesn’t really play anymore, but Yardstick keeps him busy. He’s new favorite activity is the snuffle mat!!
They were so good with my dog. Two of the things I love about Camp Bow Wow is the availability to use that when we travel and the fact that I can creep on my dog with the WebCams. I’d always makes me feel better about leaving him. Can’t Bow Wow makes it so easy to travel.
They were very friendly and accommodating. I got stuck in Kentucky with a flat tire and they were able to keep my fur baby overnight with very short notice. I appreciate them more than imaginable. Great customer service and very friendly with the pups.
Absolutely love Camp Bow Nashville, my oldest has been coming for 10 years and the newer puppy absolutely loves it too. Leighann and Steve are absolutely amazing and so is their staff. Highly recommend!
My two dogs absolutely loved it here! With a thorough screening process, proper staffing, and plenty of room to play, I could board my dogs for several days worry-free. They have affordable pricing and even give you access to live camera feeds of their play areas during the day. We will absolutely be booking here again!
Had a trial with our 6 month old golden retriever puppy and below is what we saw on their live cam and what we experienced. In short, don’t use them. 1. Didn’t feed the lunch we brought to them, the ziplock we brought was lying on their front desk, untouched, when we went to pick up our dog. 2. Environment is Worse than a dog park, more than 20 dogs in 1 play yard and only ONE staff per yard, dogs were not playing with each other, but only bullying. Our puppy was mounted and humped by 2 different dogs, staff separated the first one but didn’t notice the second one. We also saw several mounting and fighting and sometimes staff would notice sometimes they were busy at something else. 3. Hygiene, staff tried to clean and mop the floor in time, but we watched 2 dogs eating a dog’s poop on live cam…while staff was probably busy separating other fighting or bullying dogs.
Camp bow wow is a must return for me whenever in Nashville I was able to comfortably drop off my dog and not have worry at any time because everyone was so friendly and I was able to check in on him on the webcams but what really impressed me was that I had not been to camp bow wow since February (over 6 months ago) and when I walked in there door not only was everyone friendly but knew my dogs name upon arrival. Will be back!
Great place! I have a super hyper pup so I bring him here to get some of his energy out! The staff is great as well!
The staff is friendly and helpful. I love that I can see my dog enjoying her time with other dogs. They make it super easy to book with the app. love this place
The staff was very friendly and attentive. This is a very busy facility and most dogs seemed happy to be going in. It is great that they require interviews. Our interview allowed me to get a feel for the facility which was not at all what I expected after looking at photos online. I was also surprised that they allow up to 50 dogs in one play space, but typically it is "about 45" according to staff. In addition, all of these dogs are kept in this same space all day long. My dog couldn't wait to get out of there and neither could I!
Camp Bow wow is great. Flexible, dog comes home happy and tired, kind staff. All good!! They have cameras on all the play areas, which is great to watch my pup, but also I think says a lot about their accountability to customers and their dogs. Being on camera always is stressful, and it's great to see how the staff are always paying attention to dogs, always supervising.
I have to say how impressed I am with Hounds Town (Nashville). This was the first time I’ve used them for boarding and they quickly demonstrated how thorough and considerate they are. When I checked in, Reagan went over the feeding instructions for my two dogs 🐶🐶 and called me immediately when she saw one of them wasn’t feeling well. She even stayed past closing to wait for me to pick my dog up and sent photos that I could share with the vet. She also said I could text her updates because I was stressed and wasn’t sure what to do with my other dog. They truly understand what helps ease an anxious dog parent’s mind. Absolutely recommend!
We brought our dog to Hounds Town while we were traveling. I appreciate that they do a temperament evaluation first so that I know my dog will be around other friendly dogs. All the staff were very kind and made me feel comfortable leaving my dog in a new environment. My dog came home happy and tired from his day at day care! Highly recommend them if you are in the Nashville area.
I have been bringing my aussiedoodle here for daycare since last year. Me and my dog Sam both love it there! My guy is an only dog so he looks forward to his Saturday daycare visits to be able to play hard and socialize. He gets excited in the car the moment he realizes we are close and the moment a team member comes to the lobby to get him, he takes off and never looks back! He always comes home so relaxed and such a happy boy. What means so much to me are the people that work there though. It wasn't long before they remembered his name and would greet him coming through the door. A few months ago a team member had showed my partner pics of my dog he had taken during his exit bath there when he was a puppy still and we thought it was the sweetest thing that they enjoyed watching him grow up like we did. There was a time when i dropped him off and I didn't know the specific team member, but she knew Sam and also remembered to ask if we wanted our usual exit bath when I forgot to ask that day. I didn't know her, but she definitely knew us and it felt great! I've also been asked before for proof of his updated vaccines when they've expired. It was great knowing that they keep up with these things for the health and safety of all of their visitors Little things like that are what make us feel good bringing him and knowing that he's in good hands. The owner John is incredibly patient and kind when there are any questions, as well as Dru (maybe the manager?). Truly just a solid group of people here. Do be prepared though that dogs will be dogs and they will stink sometimes bringing them home, especially if they have a long coat. An exit bath always helps with that, and he leaves smelling amazing!
The staff was very friendly, they took time to explain everything and be sure the dogs were safe. The place was nice and clean. The first day is free to try and my dogs are excited to go back. They also get a nail trim while there.
I highly recommend Hounds Town for daycare and boarding! The staff is professional, caring, and attentive. The facilities are clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I feel confident leaving my dog in their care, knowing he is in good hands. Excellent service and great value!
Our first time leaving our fur babies and we’re very happy with this place. Everyone there were very nice and pleasant to talk to and very reasonable prices. Will definitely use them again when going to Nashville again.
Solomon loves visiting his dog and human friends at Hound’s Town. Great place to keep our active pup busy while we work. Highly recommend.
Buck loved Hounds Town Nashville! He stayed a weekend while we were away and had a blast. We loved seeing the pictures posted daily of him and all the dogs. We will definitely be back for daycare
My 13 year old Cairn Terrier loves Hound's Town! He has been to day care several times and has stayed for a long weekend. The team does an excellent job with food and overnight requests, which can be a bit lengthy with senior dogs. The photo is from his first time at day care and you can tell he is so happy!
Great first impression! Nice facility and friendly staff. This was my pups first daycare experience and I think he really enjoyed it. We will be back! 🐶 …
Literally the sweetest person ever. Nicole is so detail oriented and asked all the right questions. We hired her for one overnight dog sitting service and we were so comfortable having her in our house and watching our pup. She took him to our doggy playground at our complex and walks too. We were able to see what they were doing because she took pictures and updated us often. We used to take him to doggy daycare but will now be using her exclusively for out of town trips we can’t bring him along! All photos were taken by Nicole! There’s more but I’ll spare you all. 😂
Nicole is the best! We’ve had her as our regular sitter for around 6 months now, and i’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for loving pet care. She is always very flexible with my partners schedule, as sometimes he has last minute jobs and last minute cancellations. I truly feel like she cares for our pets and treats them as her own. I love receiving little messages and photos of my pets when she’s visiting. Thank you, Nicole!
If you’re like me, your pets are your children and it’s important that you have someone you can trust to take care of your babies the way you do when you’re away. I’ve trusted Jolly Paws for the last 4 years to do just that. I always get picture updates on how my babies are doing and they always look so happy to see Nicole. She has relieved any anxiety that I’ve had about being away for any period of time. Reliable and affordable and helped me out several times in a pinch. Highly recommend!! ❤️🐾
I am so thankful for Nicole and the wonderful service she provides. I travel for work and leisure and Nicole has always taken the best care of my cats when I’m gone. I had a cat become chronically ill and I knew I could count on her to make sure she got her medicine, encouraged her to eat and spent time with both cats playing with them and loving on them. She is such a blessing to me and my cats. I don’t know what I would do without her!
My pup, Morty, loves his walks with Nicole! She walks him 2-3 times each week. Nicole is loving and truly cares about his well being. She’s very cognizant of ensuring his safety and the safety of my house. Nicole communicates clearly and in a timely manner. Highly recommend Jolly Paws!
Nicole has taken care of my cats several times. I have 3 special needs cats that she provides special food and treats for. I also have a couple of feral cats outside that she makes sure get their usual food. She sends me pictures so that I know everything is fine at home and I can relax and enjoy my time away. Very reliable. I would highly recommend her if you need pet care.
Ms. Nicole is amazing! She takes such wonderful care of our cat who generally does not like strangers and has a touch of separation anxiety. Ms. Nicole is always on time, keeps everything clean and sends us fun and detailed updates with pictures so we can see how happy our little furry beast is. We highly recommend Jolly Paws to anyone that needs worry free comfort and care for their fur babies.
Highly recommend Nicole! She has taken great care of my cat who is quite picky about her people. It’s great to be able to travel and know your furry baby is all set. 🐈 …
Absolutely the best! I can 100% trust that my pups are happy and taken care of! Always very accommodating and I love the updates during visit. The app and scheduling is top notch.
So grateful to have found Jolly Paws Petcare. Nicole is the utmost professional and gives exceptional care. The app is great also. I received regular updates with photos and timely communication. My pets are not just animals to me but my family. To find someone to care for them while I'm away is truly a Godsend! Highly recommend.
We really appreciated Paige watching our dog. Not only did she watch her last minute over Christmas break, but she updated us more several times a day with photos telling us what they were doing throughout the day also keeping us up-to-date daily on when she ate and her health. We highly recommend Paige for watching your dog. She treats them as if they were your child and does her very best to make sure your fur baby is as comfortable as possible while you’re away!
I would definitely use Paige and her business again. She did a great job with my 5mo old puppy. I got pictures, updates and more importantly Ace got a lot of love ❤️🐾 …
Paige and her team is absolutely amazing. She takes such great care of Alpine, who can require a lot due to her age. Paige’s communication is one of my favorite things. She keeps you updated and sends lots of pics to make sure you’re kept in the loop and worry free. Alpine loves her so much! Paige is the only person I trust leaving our dog with. Thanks Paige!
Paige was a fantastic dog sitter - she stayed in our home for over a week with our 2 dogs and sent us multiple daily updates with photos. We had no concerns and appreciated her calm demeanor with the dogs. We’ve booked her again for our next two trips!
Hire her! Paige is the #1 person we trust with our 7 year old Golden Retriever! She not only makes sure he is fed and gone potty, but she takes extra time to play with him, cuddle him, and give him his pills! She sends frequent photo updates (which I love!) and she always leaves our home spotless as if she was never there. If you need someone for any type of dog care, look no further than Paige!
Excellent experience with Paige caring for our pups! She was attentive and communicated constantly. We had no worries while we were on our trip and look forward to using her services again! Fred and McKay love her!
Paige is a wonderful dog sitter. She stayed 3 nights. I got daily updates on my dogs.( pictures when she was there). She treated my home with great respect.
Paige was amazing!! She did such an amazing job taking care of our pup for a week and sent constant photos and updates which was super appreciated. Highly recommend Paige!
I have a very let’s say “challenging” cat. Paige was super patient with her and really took it upon herself to win her over. Great with communication and super flexible. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area that’s in need of a pet sitter.
Paw-sitive Pet Nanny is outstanding! Paige came in clutch when I needed someone to let my pup out. She checked in with me, made sure my dog went to the bathroom, took him on a little walk and loved on him. I will definitely be using her services again!!
Robert is amazing. Great with the pets, really nice guy. Can't recommend enough.
Our cat is not very friendly with strangers, but Merrill and Gillian were so amazing and patient looking after him, even sending pictures and videos throughout his three night stay. We are thankful to have found them and will definitely come back!
From the staff to the facilities, everything is amazing! They take great care of our little guy and he loves playing with the team and his friends! They even do photo shoots and Birthday parties. My wife and daughter love the webcams to watch him play.
I had a wonderful experience with and Kitty’s as they took care of my senior dog who has diabetes while I was out of town. I was really nervous to leave him but I was so impressed by the quality of care he received with his special needs - usually he is eager to come home when we pick him up from other places but at Miss Kitty’s he just wanted to stay with them! 😆 Highly recommend, especially for folks with special needs pups. The folks here are obviously passionate about what they do and I’m looking forward to bringing our other dogs here in the future.
I worked here for a couple of weeks and some the employees behavior behind closed doors is awful Before working here i managed a successful team of 20 associates and loved my job for 3 years. We were first place in the district. i decided to change things up by trying something new. Other people who had worked here had been on there phones while on the job 24/7. I would never be on my phone for the most part .I called my mom one time who had cancer while on the job so that I could receive the message that she got cancer and I got in trouble and singled out.I got no sympathy that my mom had cancer.I got accused of lying that my mom had cancer i also caught mistakes of other associates not cleaning up dogs messes and skipping medication.Another dog was hospitalized for the wrong food being given. She is still employed at the moment I am not judging anyone these are just things i noticed I was singled out by a group of women who talked poorly about most people behind closed doors. They are always waiting for the next person to terminate i got a phone call from the owner saying i was terminated for asking to many questions. I was never given a warning or a write up at this job. They also told me They had to hold my hand when letting the dogs out on time . This is not true….. there was construction going on in the yards so that’s why I had to ask what times to let the dogs go out . And also i was new there. I was always on time to work 15 minutes early and even gotten an on-time bonus that many others did not receive. I made sure to feed and medicate the dogs on time And properly. I also cuddled and gave the dogs plenty of attention i loved seeing them play with the toys i gave them. I wanted to ask lots of questions to make sure I didn’t make any mistakes. Just remember if you decide to work here If you are not there cup of tea, they will fire you With no reason behind it. And also, there is no room for error. Talk about mean girl highschool behavior. know if you plan on taking your dogs Here there are many other places That care about Employees and their dogs.also if you want to work here be prepared to walk on eggshells around these people because one slip up and your out.
We boarded our two miniature Dachshunds for the first time ever at Miss Kitty’s this past weekend and couldn’t be any happier! It was a great experience. We will be back!
Took my fiancé’s two dogs in (pit bull and bull dog) for free nail trimming and they took excellent care of the dogs and loved on them so much! It was amazing to witness AND THEY SELL COOKIES THAT ARE FREAKING AMAZING!! Entire staff (5-7 crew members males and females) was soooo nice HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Good service and dogs seemed well taken care of. The facility is very nice. The only complaint was the person who booked us said they would call our vet to confirm vaccinations. She didn't, which caused a delay in the dropoff process and our departure. Cost is on the high end.
My rating solely represents boarding operations and pricing, not staff or safety. I felt my dogs were taken care of, despite rarely seeing them. My first time boarding my two dogs at Miss Kitty’s came with miscommunication about drop-off times. On Sundays, the facility opens 4 hours later. Miss Kitty’s website (and friendly staff) did not call this out to me. When I booked in person, I specially remember being told to “ignore the time on the reservation” since they are 7a-7p. Okay! Done… I learned the hard way that Sunday is NOT the day to ignore reservation times… 🥲 CUT TO: Sunday AM. I have my dogs. Everything is locked. After 30 minutes of troubleshooting with no after-hours number or quick response in the app, I managed to frantically wave down the manager who was far away, but outside. After she saw an embarrassing display of travel anxiety, tears, and fast explanation, she “broke the rules” (her words) to check my dogs in early. (She also mentioned the drop-off time was on my reservation, which I can laugh about now…sort of 😅). I would have missed my flight if it didn’t end up being delayed. FWIW - I felt the operations director was kind and understanding when we spoke on the phone afterwards. Lastly, I do want to mention the pricing. I paid over $1,000 for two dogs across a 5 night stay only to have no photos sent to me and one text update (which was from the operations director who I’m sure heard about a crying woman and wanted to ease my experience…😅). Yes, there are 24/7 webcams, but you have to choose the Euro-style boarding and your dogs must be the same size. I have one small and one medium/large dog, so to avoid having them separated, saloon-style was my only option. The outdoor cameras don’t always catch your dogs, and you have to actively remember what time they go outside based on the boarding schedule. I realized I was paying the same amount as euro-style but with no 24/7 webcam access, which is worth the money in my opinion. For comparison, I now use Hounds Town who were thorough and upfront about daily drop-off/pick-up times (before I asked), has fair pricing for two dogs, and a specific social page for daily photos of your pets. They are the preferable choice for this anxious dog mom.
My 14 year old pug comes in here biweekly for his nails and requires special attention because he's a pug who hates his paws touched, not to mention he's old. Reasonable price, given that he needs two people to cut his nails, which I commend them for being so careful with him to ensure he is safe and doesn't hurt himself. The price has increased by a few dollars since 2017 or so whenever he first began going, but still reasonable. He is treated with care and love by every member of staff. It is well worth it.
I wanted to schedule my pup for their Doggy daycare, I’ve read all of the wonderful reviews and thought how great it would be for my pup! Unfortunately my pup isn’t allowed to be apart of the program due to her breed. I was a dog groomer for many years and understand fully that safety is number 1 priority. It was just disappointing that certain breeds are criticized as a whole without the individual dogs temperaments being considered. I will say I’ve have been around many Maltese’s, Shitzus, and Chihuahuas that are more aggressive than any Shepard, Rottweiler, or Pitbull. Just food for thought
We rescued Leslie Knope (our sweet pug) a few months ago and Miss Kitty's takes GREAT care of her. Leslie is very skittish around other dogs and tends to prefer humans, so I was worried about leaving her there. But the staff is SO amazing with her. I feel like they truly love our dog and take good care of her. We use their daycare regularly and there's always someone keeping a good eye on them. Their webcams also allow you to watch from home. Leslie especially like her baths that she gets here. She always comes home with a cute scarf on and smelling good. It's a friendly environment where they know your pet by name the second you walk in the door. It might be pricier in comparison to other places, but given Leslie's rough past, only the best for her ;) I wouldn't take Leslie to any other pet daycare in Nashville after my experience with Miss Kitty's.
