I have used the services of TLC In-Home Pet Care several times over the last few years and I have been extremely impressed with the care they provide my cat Callie while I am out of town! When Callie was just 6 months old, we had a family vacation planned and I was nervous about leaving her on her own for long periods of time. My vet's office recommended TLC and I reached out to them right away. I really like that they do a meet and greet first so they can get to know your pet a little bit and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Another positive is that they hold different certifications, including ones in pet first aid and CPR. On top of all this, Laura and Rich are wonderful people and they really do go above and beyond when they come check on my furry loved one. Detailed notes about each visit are left for me at home, as well as on their online client portal. Pictures are often left in the visit notes as well. I can't recommend Laura, Rich, and the TLC care team enough! I have so much more piece-of-mind knowing the Callie is being looked after by a great team of people while I'm out of town. I look forward to continued use of their services in the future!

I’ve been using Laura and Rich and their gang for cat sitting since we moved to Fort Wayne from out of state several months ago. I’ve used them for several short trips of 3-7 days and for a 3-week trip over Christmas where they spent nights at our house. The care they provide for my two kitties is top notch, even with the one who isn’t especially friendly. They know just how to keep her feeling safe and loved! I absolutely trust them with my two kitties and in my home, and I highly, highly recommend TLC In-Home Pet Care.

We love Rich and Laura and we honestly couldn’t have gotten our dog with out their help! My husband and I both work long hours (8 and 12-14 respectively) and when we first adopted our 4 month old puppy, we knew we’d need help. I had taken the 1st 2 weeks off work in order to get him house broken and start some basic training and they were able to help foster his skills from there! They gave us recommendations on how often they should visit him to start since we had no idea what we were doing and our dog loved having their company! Always gave detailed reports of their visits and even gave us some advice when he got sick. Some of the cutest pictures I have of our dog is ones that they took! Since we moved out of Fort Wayne, we don’t use them any more but wish they lived where we do now so we could keep them!

TLC (Laura and Rich) are exceptional at what they do. We have been using them since we moved here and it has been a blessing having them care four our 2 (previously 3) fur babies in our home. You can tell they are animal lovers and they have always been respectful of our home. If you have never experienced in-home pet care, I would suggest trying TLC at least once. Not having to take our boys (dogs) to be boarded makes leaving less stressful. We know our boys will be together, safe, cared for exceptionally well, and comfortable in their own home.

My Mom passed away recently and we needed to leave the country ASAP. It was our first time availing services of a pet sitter and chose TLC because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed at all! For 2 weeks, Laura took care of our 2 feathered babies. Laura was amazing, gave us daily updates and pictures, very professional and trustworthy as well. Furthermore, the app makes it very convenient for payments, scheduling, instructions, etc. We most definitely will use TLC’s services again.

We have been using TLC for about 5 years for our dogs and birds. They always go above and beyond in taking care of our pets. I love the updates at each visit so we know how things are going while we are away. We had a dog that needed a lot of medications and they always did such a good job. Our pets adore them!

I can tell you that Rich, Laura and Emily have been an absolute blessing to us! It is the best feeling knowing we can go away and know our cats are being taken care of beyond measure! Every single one of them goes above and beyond in taking care of the cats and not only that but they pay close attention to details. They help sweep up the litter, bring in packages. We even forgot to ask them to take our trash bin to the curb and they wrote us and said we saw your neighbors bins at the curb so we took your trash down! Amazing ! Thank you all for taking such amazing care of Hank and Ivy and for always going above and beyond! Oh and their app is phenomenal and so easy to stay in touch with how our cats are doing! They send lots of pics too!

I can’t say enough good things about TLC’s pet sitting services! It’s clear that they’re not just professionals but also true animal-lovers. My dog, Bella, as well as my four cats were truly happy animals when I got back home, they really took to Laura and Rich (whom also happen to be my In-Laws!!) They went above and beyond, updating me with photos through-out the week. They even took care of little chores around the house such as bringing in the mail. I returned home to happy animals and a well looked after home. If you're looking for reliable, compassionate, and exceptional pet care, look no further. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We love using Rich and Laura!

Laura takes great care of our pets when we travel. She also communicates regularly so we never have to worry and even send pictures. Our cat loves his visits and the attention he gets. Highly recommend!

Laura and Rich did an outstanding job taking care of our cats while we were on a trip. They were thorough, spoke at length with me to understand what care the cats needed, and followed it all up with incredible service. They left notes following each visit and sent us photos of our cats while we were gone, too! I highly recommend checking out TLC if you have pets that need to be visited while you’re out of town. Our cats were well taken care of and even the shy one warmed up to Rich and Laura!

I have had such an amazing experience with all star pet care for the last few years! My high energy Australian shepherd puppy loves it here and pulls me all the way there. He comes home exhausted! The staff is super kind and reliable, and they offer great services like bringing your dog home or overnight boarding for day care dogs. I also love the webcam so I can watch my pup play! Would recommend them to everyone with a pup!

I truly LOVE this daycare and wish I could give more stars. The staff are all so wonderful with humans and the dogs - friendly, communicative, easygoing. John (owner) is so generous with his time for clients. He truly goes above and beyond to get your dog set up initially and then is so willing to help after that as well. The space is great and the webcams are just the finishing touch on the whole awesome experience. My dog is shy and I love how they handle him - gentle but also encouraging him to do whatever it is he's afraid of. I can't recommend this daycare enough!! Take your dogs there!!

We have only been with All Star for a month or so but we love working with them. Our dog is always cared for so well-whether he is at day care or being walked. My father passed away recently and the whole staff at All Star has been extremely flexible and kind during this stressful time. Our pup loves getting to run around at day care. He is always exhausted when he gets him. I completely recommend All Star to anyone looking to support a local, small business that treats your dog like one of their own.

John and his staff are the best. We have been going to All Star for 4+ yrs, with our past dog (who passed away) and some of our dog-friendly foster. John is so thoughtful, understanding and has a true love for animals. Our previous dog had some trust issues with people but he worked through them with her. I couldn't recommend All Star more - thank you, John & team!!

Hill Family is truly the best!! We have done both Boarding, Board and Train, and Day Care -- all of the different options have been awesome! The staff is SO friendly and caring, and genuinely excited to see our dog, Finley each time he goes. Finley is also THRILLED to go to Hill Family each time - he get's SO excited to head right into the play area to see his friends. There is a ton of engagement for pets, and most importantly he's HAPPY and EXAHAUSTED when he comes home. The training experience was also awesome. We did 3 weeks of Board and Train and Matt did an excellent job working with Finley our very high-energy golden retriever, particularly on leash training. We are so grateful for Hill Family and couldn't recommend them more!

New post after boarding: I am extremely happy with how well taken care of our baby was at Hill Family. He boarded with them for a full week (during Thanksgiving) and I received a daily report as well as followed their stories on IG daily. I enjoyed seeing Billy and the other pups everyday. Whenever I had a question via email, they replied immediately and usually with a phone call. They gave him a nail trim and he was clean when we got him. When we came to pick him up, we watched him from the window before having them retrieve him for us and he seemed so happy! I cannot express how much I appreciate Hill Family Pet Care and will definitely use their boarding services whenever we travel again. We brought Billy for a trial run at Hill Family and I am impressed with the cleanliness, the friendly and knowledgeable staff and just how calm the atmosphere is with all the dogs. Billy can be very anxious but he readily walked in with the owner and when I picked him up, he wanted to go back in with the play group! I like that I can watch the pups from the window. Their play area looks fun and inviting and someone is always in there even in the wee hours of the night for the dogs who board overnight. That gives me peace since we will board our baby there for the holidays.

The front desk staff was friendly and informative. Great communication. The groomer did a beautiful job on my huge Great Pyrenees. Her wash, cut, nails, de-shedding were done to perfection.

The best pet boarding facility! I usually bring my dog with me when I travel until I found Hill Family Pet Care. I feel so at ease when my dog stays there. They are so kind, knowledgeable, and take the best care of all of the pets staying there. They send daily updates and are constantly posting the dogs on their instagram. I look forward to when my dog is able to stay there. Highly recommend!

Hill Family is wonderful! I have been utilizing their services for daycare and boarding for my mini golden doodle Olive and couldn't be happier! It is evident how much they care about the dogs and how much my dog enjoys being there (she now runs in from the care). It is so nice to trust a place to take care of my dog and know she is also happy there.

We are new to the Chicagoland area. This is the first facility that our little 7-yr-old Toy Fox Terrier has enjoyed from first entry. She comes home happy (and very tired) every time.

Our dog had the very best time at Hill Family! He regularly goes to daycare and has been boarded there, and we can’t imagine anyone better to care for him. We love how many updates they provide and that he not only gets to play with other dogs but also gets to participate in enrichment activities. Highly recommend!

We love Hill Family Pet Care. Our dog Lainey loves going to daycare and boarding there. They are so friendly and courteous to all of their dogs and parents. Their facilities are entertaining and fun for all of the dogs. Super clean as well.

I can’t say enough positive things about HFPC. As a first time dog mom I was very anxious about sending him to daycare and having toured several facilities, I wasn’t sure I’d ever find the right place for us that met what I was looking for.. until HFPC. They could not have made us feel more welcomed and secure. I love that they actually have toys for the dogs to play with and crate free boarding. Every single person there is so kind and friendly and they make you feel like your pup is the most important thing in the world. Frankie literally sprints to the door when we pull up because he’s so excited. Cannot recommend them enough!

They are truly the best. My sweet Lola loves to go to daycare here and she just recently spent a 4 night stay. I am always nervous about leaving her but they eased my mind with PUPdates and pictures daily. She is sleeping soundly next to me and I know she had the best time. They interact and make sure to actively play games and ball(her favorite) with them. If you are looking for a place for your pup, I highly recommend Hill Family Pet Care!

We have brought our dog here for 8 years and it’s the only place he comes back from happy. Wendy has also groomed him all 8 years and he just loves her. He runs to the door ready to get groomed. He has never walked into or out of the doors unhappy. The past owners were fine but the new owners are great and show care.

The people here truly love animals. The facility is clean! My pets love it here and are so Pampered. I do not have any worries when I have to leave them here. They have my complete trust!

Love this place for grooming and boarding my working dogs

We have 3 Golden Retriever girls, and they have an absolute blast every time they go to daycare or stay over while we are away. Our dogs have been going to Pampered Pets for more than 5 years now for daycare, birthday parties, lodging and one very happy Cancer Free party. The staff is all around amazing, very friendly and helpful, and our dogs love them enough to drag us in through the doors! They have a wide range of rooms instead of runs for lodging, which allows us to board our spoiled dogs with peace of mind that they would be comfortable. Special callout for Amber, who loves our dogs as much as they love her! Easily the best place for our dogs in Fort Wayne, would highly recommend!

This place is truly amazing! They love and care for my dog like she's one of their own. She has the best time with her daycare friends and is well loved when we need to board her. They have so many creative add-ons offered throughout the year, like an ice cream party in the summer and Thanksgiving dinner around the holiday. Every staff member is attentive and helpful. 10/10 recommend!

we LOVEEE our pampered pets family! My 5 year old boxer biggie loves going to daycare here two-three days a week. The staff goes above and beyond to keep these dogs happy and busy, and on top of that they are all so kind! They’re amazing about last minute openings for him as well if I end up having an unexpected hectic day. We’ve found our forever place to bring our fur baby, and future pups :)

Best place to take your dog for daycare they will get a lot of love in a clean, safe environment. They provide a lot of different services like training and baths!

Pampered Pets always does an excellent job with our Corgi Ebert! He's been going to daycare three times a week for years now and I know he's always well cared for during his time there. The staff is always friendly and professional, the facilities are impressive and the events that they have (birthday parties, photo shoots, etc.) are an added bonus :)

Took my two dogs here for the first time today. They got groomed and got to do daycare. I was very satisfied with everything. My dogs were silky smooth upon return and seemed like they played all day. The report cards are also awesome I loved to hear about what they did and what dogs they played with. Very affordable and will be returning!

Absolutely love this place for our pup! He’s been going there 1-2x a week for almost a year now and he’s so excited every time. We have boarded our pup there for a few different occasions and he does so well. He seems so very well taken care of. We can really tell he’s comfortable there. We love giving him the play time weekly there with all his dog friends!

I’ve used Pampered Pets for three separate stays. My biggest complaint is that they don’t provide updates on how your dog is doing. On the most recent stay, my dog was in their care for 8 days. I did not receive a single update from Pampered Pets. They have a code to join a Snapchat for updates posted to their door, I joined this service and not a single image was ever posted. Even upon check out I was not provided information on how her stay went. They give out a report card at the end of the stay, of course, there were no comments added to the comment section. I had even paid extra on this stay for the 4 star package which includes 2 playtimes with staff and a special bedtime tuck in. At this point, I’m not even sure she received those. Surely, if a staff had to interact with my dog 3 times a day minimum they could at least comment on something she liked at playtime. With a bill of nearly $700, updates are expected, we will be looking elsewhere for boarding in the future. She was fed, watered, and recieved her medications so I did award a stars for that.

My dog loves this place! She has made 4 and 2 legged friends here. She knows when she's going, and becomes so excited to jump in the car to see her Pampered Pet buddies. These are true animal lovers. Your baby will be well cared for.

After having our dogs stay in a standard lodge for 3 nights, I went to pick them up and my dogs collar was on completely wrong and she could have gotten out of it very easily. We had to ask for our dogs items back as they did not know they even had them there. They did not return our dog food or our scoop, we also got our dog beds/blankets back covered in dog hair that wasn’t my dogs and the beds were soaking wet. When they went to find our beds and other items, they found them in a completely different area of the building no where near my dogs. The bag I took with my dogs things also was soaking wet (smelled like urine) and the toys I left for them also came back covered in dog hair that again was not from my dogs. Very over priced for the services provided.

Pet Care Plus has been an amazing place for our dog, Storm. She has stayed there multiple times, and each visit has been a great experience. The staff is incredibly responsive and always friendly, which makes us feel comfortable leaving her in their care. We especially love the daily report card they provide, keeping us updated while we're away. Storm always comes home happy and worn out from all the fun she has. Pet Care Plus truly feels like a second home for her, and we highly recommend it for your dog as well!

We started bringing our 18 month old mini schnauzer here about two months ago and so far we have been really impressed! The facilities are very clean and well maintained, and the staff is always very kind and helpful. We also love being able to check in on her throughout the day with the cameras! We feel good about bringing her here week after week. We also started scheduling grooming appointments during day care, which is so convenient. Our dog is not easy to groom, as she mats very easy and hates being brushed. Recently, Emily went above and beyond and groomed her so well despite the trouble our dog gave her :) We couldn’t be happier with how the haircut turned out and the dedication and kindness that Emily the groomer displayed. We will definitely keep bringing our dog back to her!

We’ve been going to PetCP for about 12 years. They always are wonderful with our pup! Since our dog is an older lady now, she just goes for grooming, but loved the doggy daycare when she used to go. Her groomer is gentle with our nervous dog. She always looks gorgeous and happy after her groom! I highly recommend all their services.

If your dog cries or pant during grooming, this facility may not be the right fit for you. Before my appointment, I confirmed 4 times with both the staff and the groomer whether they could manage a non-aggressive dog that cries when held in a crate near other dogs for extended periods. Each time, I was reassured that they were experienced in handling dogs that are vocal or anxious. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Upon arrival, the groomer incorrectly assumed that my dog was a puppy, despite my clarification that she is four years old—an error stemming from a mix-up in the application. My partner was also accused about our dog’s age during pickup, and throughout the experience, the groomer was unprofessional, rude, and condescending. Had the groomers been more transparent about their abilities, communicated more effectively, and treated us with respect, I would have completely understood that not all grooming facilities are equipped to handle anxious dogs. However, their dismissive attitude, lack of professionalism, and demeaning comments were disappointing. I will not be returning to this facility and cannot recommend it to other dog owners. Every dog has unique needs, and it’s clear that this establishment is not prepared to accommodate dogs requiring a a little bit more attention or a different kind of attention.

Emily was great with my Mia and her nail trim. Mia can be a little…ummm… resistant… but from the moment we walked in the staff and groomers were amazing! Already booked a full spa day for my girl to bring in the new year so fresh and so clean!

They are such a wonderful dog centric place! We have been taking our 2+ year old Boston mix here for about a year and he looooves it and they love him! being able to see him play and get reports of how he does each day makes me feel better about sending him to Pet Care for daycare and boarding. He always comes home happy and exhausted, which is exactly what I want!

We highly recommend Pet Care Plus! The staff was terrific to our dachshund and being able to watch her play throughout the day on the webcam was an added perk. Thank you for taking such good care of her. We appreciate it!

Petcare Plus is an A+. Gina provides extra special grooming care even to an old and cranky customer that has gone to her for years! We are never disappointed by our visits and always seem to find a little something extra to take home as they have high quality treats, food, toys, goats milk, etc. i would highly recommend as we travel to come for our visits!

My lab Athena has been going here since she was a puppy! She’s 4 years old now and the petscare plus team is part of our extended family, she loves going there and spending time with all of her Human friends! Thank you always taking the best care of my baby!!! ♥️

We love the grooming services at Pet Care Plus! Gina in particular has been wonderful with our shy Labrador. The front desk staff does a great job, too! Highly recommend.

Valerie's Pet Service is fabulous. Over the past several years Valerie has taken care of 3 of our dogs and they all loved spending time there. Valerie's Pet Service also took care of our beloved cat. I would highly recommend Valerie to anyone that wants great care for their pets.

Valerie owns and operates the best doggie day care in Chicago, hands down. We've tried many of the big name places, but have always been disappointed at the lack of care they provide. Valerie on the other hand is incredibly caring and understands what the needs of all the dogs she manages, which creates a much more safe and fun environment. We've been working with Valerie for a few years now, and consider her part of our family. She's the best!

Happy tails is one of the best doggy daycare boarding, and grooming places we have experienced! Highly recommend and will continue to take our dog for all our daycare boarding and grooming needs! The staff was amazing. Our plane was delayed two hours and we weren’t able to pick him up and they extended his stay with no issue.

Our pup LOVES going to “school” at Happy Tails. Staff is always just as excited to see him as he is to see them. Also, the seasonal pictures are a fun bonus that we look forward to. I highly recommend Happy Tails. You and your pup will not be disappointed!

If you love your animal keep looking, this place is a joke! I would give this place a zero if I could. Was scheduled to board our dog here for a few days and the night before we were scheduled to check him in he suffered from an incident that required him to be put down this morning. Called and spoke to the owner/manager Kathrine about this situation she claimed there was nothing that could be done and we still had to pay for the week. Seems incredibly heartless. It's a non holiday week, during school year but she claims they are booked solid. Highly doubt that's the case but even if it was, common sense would suggest making exceptions in extreme cases. Updated Response After owners responded- You're claiming to be booked for the weekend as why you can't refund our stay - fine. Today is Saturday, our dog was to stay there until next Friday. Why not extend grace knowing that our dog passed away today and refund Monday - Friday since you admittedly are only booked solid this weekend? Also - I love how in the 2 hours of me having to write this review you 'magically' have 3 new 5 star reviews. Geez - Just try doing the right thing and you wouldn't have to create fake reviews to bury a 1 star behind a bunch of clearly fake reviews.

I have taken dogs here for over 20 years they have always been professional and are very good on all aspects they have cut at least 6 of my dogs hair and i highlu recommend them

They have too much miscommunication going on in there from what we have experienced every time going. Definitely our last time ever. Been taken my dog four times so far to happy tails to get groomed! Each and every time they told us to drop her off from 8 AM through 10 AM. This last time the total is the exact same thing we show up at 9:30 and they said oops sorry your appointment was at 8 AM and we cannot get your dog groomed today. Won’t refund us our deposit And rescheduled for the next time and they took another deposit from us so after thinking about it we don’t want to go back to them from how they treated us. They won’t refund us a $25 deposit for the next visit. We are very unhappy with how we have been treated. And we don’t recommend them.

Our Frankie boy absolutely LOVES! going to Day Care! He always has a smile on his face when we ask him if he wants to go to Day Care! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We really trust Happy Tails with our fur baby.

There are so many other pet sitters and groomers in Fort Wayne that are way more deserving of your service. You can see I don’t ever post reviews. I’m posting this to make others aware of their business model in hopes that others won’t be screwed over like we were. We had a trip planned and wanted to schedule dog boarding. We saw they had a decent star rating so we booked with them which included a $500 non refundable deposit. They were very clear that it was non refundable, HOWEVER we had to cancel our trip due to our entire house coming down with Covid symptoms (summer of 2023) when travel restrictions on COVID were still somewhat present. Happy Tails would not work with us at all on a partial refund or using that deposit to move our dates. Any person knows that to run a good business you need to work with your customers. We were out $500. Better Business Bureau reviews say the exact same thing as what has happened to us. It’s sad what they are doing. Please be aware of this and if you have anything unexpected come up they will not work with you. They care more about keeping the money than taking care of their clients. I feel terrible for all of the pet owners that have trusted this business and have had the same thing happen to them. Also feel free to look up public records on Indiana gov page. They seem like there have been a lot of small claims courts records.. so if this review doesn’t tell you anything then let the other reviews and records speak for themselves.
