We’re so happy with Mayra’s pet sitting services! We have two cats that require twice-a-day care, and have had the pleasure of hiring her a few times. She’s super nice, considerate, understanding, and loves pets! We’re so happy we found her for our fur baby needs. 10/10

First time cat owner here. My husband and I hired Mayra for a few drop ins while we were on a 10 day vacation. During our meet & greet, she spent about an hour at our home getting to know us and our 8 month old kitten, MoonKnight while answering all our questions. This was our first time hiring a pet sitter and being away from MoonKnight for more than 4 days. Mayra's knowledge and experience with caring for cats as she has her own reassured us of our decision to hire her. She even accommodated a last minute emergency drop in request when I noticed on our camera footage that MoonKnight accidentally closed his kennel door while playing near it. This wouldn't be such a big deal if his litter pan wasn't located inside his kennel. I was at the airport and feeling stressed! I immediately texted Mayra around 7:30 am on a weekday explaining the situation and asked if she could drop in the same day. Thankfully, she responded soon after and accommodated my last minute request. I felt so grateful and relieved. I really appreciated that she didn't give us a hard time as I felt bad for blowing up her phone with texts so early in the morning. I felt at peace leaving for vacation knowing that we could trust Mayra to handle everything. Mayra always arrived early or on time for her drop ins and she would send us photos of MoonKnight while we were away. He was showing her his belly (a sign of trust) by the last drop in :) She's a caring, professional, and experienced cat sitter. We highly recommend her and would hire her again.

Mayra is a treasure. I had two kittens that needed attending to and she was able to make it work. She’s like a mini Noah. All my kitties love her. If you need a reliable pet sitter Mayra and the flexible services she offers can work for you.

I was very impressed with Amanda she treated my cocker spaniel Augie with lots of TLC and made him feel right at home with her dog Charlie. You can tell how much she cares and loves what she’s doing. I will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Have been nothing but impressed with Mayra and Pawsitive Pet Services. They stay with our two elderly whippets and I can tell they deeply care for my animals, even though they are senior dogs with extra issues. Mayra has been the best from day one! She came into our life when my baby was just a puppy and has been such a great help along the way! I typically have her pet sit 3-4 times a month and I know my Ren is in good hands. Plus I always get cute pictures when I’m away to make it better. She goes above and beyond and I don’t trust just anyone with Ren!

Carolyn is the BEST! Both she and her mom, who both worked with my dogs, did everything possible to make things work for us. My dogs are not used to other people, but Carolyn kept at it until they both accepted her completely, no small task with my guys! Daily emails with lots of pictures let me know they were being loved and well cared for. Carolyn even took the time to wash their blankets! Best vacation ever for me, knowing my dogs were in their own environment with someone who loved them...definitely plan to call Carolyn anytime I need a sitter!

Carolyn has never let me down. She takes incredible care of my babies and sends me text and picture updates when I'm away. She has taken the time to get to know me and my pets. Carolyn is amazing! I have used her twice now and will continue to use her when I have out of town travels. She has taken such good care of my Jesse and spends quality time with him. Always communicates promptly and sends pics of how you pet is doing. She will even do overnight stays so your precious dog (or cat) does not feel alone for too long. I HIGHLY recommend using her for all of your pet sitter needs.

I've used Carolyn about 6 times to watch my young cat and am thrilled with the way she interacts with Joy each and every time. Carolyn is prompt in all her communications with me, and spends a great deal of time with Joy, not just rushing in and out to refresh her food and water. I can highly recommend Carolyn.

Carolyn goes above and beyond. She loves your kitties as well as you do while you are gone. My very skittish kitty who usually only loves his Momma and Daddy was out the first visit, eating from her hand the second and wondering why we bothered to come home after her third and our outgoing guy didn’t miss any loving either. Carolyn sent pictures so we wouldn’t miss our Boyz so much and we came home to very clean litter box and feeding station. The mail was in and we felt so safe to leave them again. We would recommend Carolyn highly!! She leaves no detail un handled.

I travel fairly frequently for work but my wife has always been home to take care of Bartle Doo, our cat and also the master of the universe. I've always been hesitant for both of us to leave, even for just a few days. Boarding stresses your pet, and your pet would rather be home anyway. But too many things can go wrong in the home without care, and relying on the kid who lives across the street is also a bad bet. I've been using Reigning Cats and Dogs of Jax since 2013, and now I can travel with my wife without worrying about cat care. Carolyn provides reliable and affordable service! It sure makes life easier. I especially appreciate the text messages and pictures from her visits. Besides feeding, playing with, and caring for your pet, Carolyn will also pick up your mail and water your plants if need be. Five stars!

Carolyn gave loving care to my cat Poe while I was out of town for a week. As requested, she communicated daily through text and pictures. She was responsive when he needed more cuddle time.

Reigning Cats and Dogs provides exemplary pet-sitting service. During the initial meet & greet, she professionally and sincerely took time to understand my cat's and my needs and preferences. She knew all the right questions to ask! I felt at ease immediately, and Romeo immediately responded to her gentle petting and scratching. During her visits, she conscientiously texted me with adorable pictures and updates to let me know all was well. I felt relieved that a caring and professional person was not only feeding and providing fresh water, but also cuddling, grooming, and playing with my cat. She also cleaned the litter box regularly. I had a couple schedule changes, and she graciously rearranged her schedule to accommodate last minute changes. I was so thankful, because with her quality of service she must be very busy. It demonstrated that she truly cares about the pets she takes care of. She spends 30 minutes during each visit, and her rates are reasonable and competitive. I recommend the compassionate care by Reigning Cats and Dogs of Jacksonville unreservedly and enthusiastically.

The hosts were great and very gracious during our meet and greet! Yet I didn't use them; it wasn't the best choice for me. Ultimately I just decided to go a different route that was more suitable specifically for my pet who is accustomed to a quiet environment with only few people.

My pups and I are very pleased with this daycare! They had never been to a daycare like this, but I did not like boarding them at the vet because they crated them most of the day… At Happy Hounds daycare, they got to walk around and socialize with the dogs that seemed very relaxed as well. I really appreciate watching them on the puppy cam because it helps keep my mind at ease when I’m away from them. The people here deeply care for animals and they do a great job of keeping the place clean. My dogs ate almost all the food I supplied. Even though they were shaking and nervous getting dropped off, they were relaxed and content the whole time I was gone. The next time I go out of town, I will definitely be using this place!

They took great care of my boxer Delilah. She was so happy at pick up! From the quick & easy drop off to pick up we are happy customers and will be bringing her back every time for service! Thank you so much Happy Hound Resorts for having such amazing and helpful employees!

We had to board our golden retriever, Axe, for 2 weeks last month and Happy Hounds Dog Resorts couldn’t have made us feel more comfortable. We were anxious as we had never boarded him before and also given that it was an extended stay. The staff was caring, attentive and always answered any of our questions or concerns when we called to check in on him. Our pup is a teen so there were some times when he was a bit “rowdy” and the staff made sure to keep him and the other dogs safe at all times. We would definitely recommend their services and use them again if necessary in the future.

My two bulldogs went to the Beach location for doggy day care today. Great experience! Love that they have play room cameras. Highly recommend.

My dog goes to Happy Hound Dog Resorts on Beach Avenue fairly regularly and he loves it! The staff are quite friendly and seem to enjoy working with the dogs. They call Banjo by name and they all seem glad to see him every time I drop him off for daycare. The place is clean and the vibe is upbeat. I highly recommend Happy Hound Dog Resorts!

I found the folks here not only friendly but they went out of their way to help me when I had to have surgery and my did was due for boosters, they took him for me, which was so unexpected but so appreciated. They bathed him on short notice and updated me on his playing with another boxer which he hadn't been able to go play with others due to my injury. Highly recommend the care and facilities for your pets. Can't say thank you enough.

We had a medical emergency during our vacation to Amelia Island in which my husband had to be hospitalized at Baptist Health. Happy Hounds was wonderful! They took my dog the next day. They were happy to let me know how she was doing when I called and were very helpful when I found out my husband was discharged. I would definitely recommend Happy Hounds to anyone who needed dog boarding around Jacksonville.

Today was my first time taking my boys to a daycare, and they loved it! The staff is so nice, and my dogs had so much fun. It was nice I could look at the cameras and watch them play. This is the first time since I have had them that they are just chilling and not bouncing all over. Barkley and Levi will definitely be back <3

I can’t say enough good things about this place. My wife and I are new to the area but needed boarding for our tow dogs while we were out of town for a medical appointment. When we arrived the staff greeted us at the door saying they were expecting us and quickly got everything in order for the drop off. They were friendly and answered our questions. We made mention we may be back the same day to pick them up as we didn’t know how long the trip and appointment would take. We did manage to get back before they closed and picked up our dogs. No issues with picking them up same day and because it was only daycare the first day was free. The place was clean and well managed and maintained. The staff was friendly and loving to our dogs. Looking at bringing the dogs back for more socializing.

We have been taking our sweet golden girl Phoebe here since last October and she loves it. We had to push back her meet and greet originally due to a hotspot and they were so nice and understanding about rescheduling. We have also had concerns about making sure she only is given what we pack due to her stomach issues she deals with and the manager Rick made sure that the coaches know only to give her what we pack. Phoebe gets excited in the car just like she does when she goes to her grandma's house (which she loves going to her grandma's house) once she realizes where we are going. The team here is so nice and cares about what is best for our girl and even are excited when Phoebe walks through the door. They are even able to get her to dress up for photoshoots unlike when we tried at home and had no luck. She has so much fun with the staff and all of her friends she has made here.

Great place for when you don't want to leave your dog home alone, have them socialize more or just tire them out lol. They have indoor rooms and an outdoor area which they rotate between during the day. Plus there are cameras you can watch on their app to check on your dog to give you a peace of mind. During the month they have different activities like snow day (in the picture) and water day. I have been taking my dog there for over a year and she absolutely loves it! I seen a big difference with being less anxious at dog parks and interacting with other dogs. The staff is amazing and very caring ❤️

I’ve been taking my dog to Dogtopia Avenues since early 2022, and they have been absolutely amazing. My pug Toro loves coming to see all his friends (furry and human). I appreciate that they have separate rooms for size and energy levels, webcams for dog parents who miss their pet and want to see them play, built in rest breaks, hygienic & comfortable environment, good supervision, and lots of love from all the management and staff. The prices are fair, there are a variety of options for care & comfort, easy scheduling, and amazing communication. I feel very comfortable with my dog in their care, and appreciate all they do to go the extra mile. Toro is also very grateful.

Dogtopia always treats my pups great when they come for a visit. Whether it's for daycare or boarding, they see to all of my dogs' needs. (Dietary needs, medicine..ect) My pups are always excited to see the great staff and all of their puppy friends. Highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend this location. I was a little hesitant about taking my puppy to daycare as I know it can cause behavioral issues in dogs but we have some trips planned and we needed to find a place where he would feel comfortable boarding. We have had no problems with Dogtopia. From the start the staff have been extremely nice and accommodating. The dogs are always supervised and I love that they do a nap time too so that the dogs don’t get over stimulated. Also they have cameras which is a huge bonus for nervous dog moms like me ! My puppy comes home clean and well exercised and always happy to return for more play time.

Our golden, Phoebe, loves going to Dogtopia at the Avenues. All of the workers know her and she gets so excited to see them as well.

I have been bringing my pug, Bean, to this daycare since he was only a few months old (now he's 3). The owners and employees there have always been nothing but sweet, kind, and caring. I love being able to watch the dogs on the webcams. Also, unlike some other daycares, they provide a structured "nap time" which allows dogs to decompress from the excitement of the day. I use their boarding whenever I am out of town for a few nights, and it is always easy to schedule. I usually choose the cheaper option and am able to bring his own bed, food, and slow feeder bowl for him to use. There was an instance where I was traveling out of the country, was stuck, and unable to call them for a day-late pickup. As stressful as my predicament was, I was able to relax knowing Bean was being taken care of and they would accommodate him either way. Love Dogtopia! The staff is great, the facility is always clean, and I love the webcams and mid day nap time too! Jay, the owner, takes an active interest in the place including spending time in the play room with the dogs and working along side the staff. We originally were just going to use it for occasional play days and vacation time boarding, but love it so much we take Laika there at least once a week. She is always excited to get there, and is a nice tired pupper when we pick her up from a day of play with her friends.

Despite Fry's trepidatious face, they both love to go. It's a great spot to take them to play, and also get baths/ maintenance when needed.

This place is AWESOME! The staff is great with our puppy! I'm so happy we found them! She has a blast playing with the other pups. They have lots of outside time and are very clean. They also have cameras, so you can check in on your pup throughout the day! We appreciate this place so much!

Frieda took great care of my maltese Jersey for the weekend! It was difficult for me to leave my baby but Frieda made sure to keep me updated with plenty of texts and photos. She treated my dog just like family. I highly recommend Frieda's services and will definitely use her again!

I am so lucky to have met Frieda. My dog absolutely loves her and it’s so comforting knowing when I leave town or work long days that he is in good hands and happy. He is always excited to stay with her and is a tired boy when I pick him up from all the playing! I recommend her to anyone.

Frieda was a life saver! My wife and I had to attend my Father’s funeral out of state, Frieda was affordable, and she really made us worry less about our two mini dachshunds, whom we’ve never left with anyone before! Another thing that sold me on Frieda, was her daughter Claire! When she saw our pups, you could see in her face and smile that your dogs were gonna be loved during their stay! Highly recommend Frieda and Claire!

Frieda was wonderful! Never a worry! The dogs love her too! She always checks in during her visit with a photo, walks and feeds them. I could not have made it through the holidays, with my schedule, without her!

Frieda did a great job taking care of our pup and bird. She even let my dog sleep with her daughter. Her prices were reasonable and I will use her again. I really trust her!

I can’t say enough good things about Fresh Prints. We were going out of town for our wedding and honeymoon and I looked at several places and fresh prints was a small business with caring people. Jay took the time to show me around and answer all my questions. All the staff are friendly and kind! I read our itinerary wrong and had to add an extra day last minute and they were so kind and accommodating! We definitely will bring Mango back in the future! He even got to make new corgi friends!

Fresh Prints is such a great place for my baby, Stella. They love her personality and enjoy when she sings along with the radio. They are also very accommodating with her chicken allergy by having treats that are chicken-free, something other daycares I have taken Stella to have not been. Thank you!

After having a medical issue for myself last night I knew I had to check myself into a hospital this morning. I started looking for a pet resort or a kennel for my dog and was not very happy with a lot of the reviews until I found fresh prints pet lodge very close to me. I went there when they opened this morning and told them I had go go into the hospital maybe for a few days. They really didn’t have the space but took my girl precious in anyway. Thankfully, I only had to go to the hospital for a few hours to resolve my issue. Then I called them and told them I’ll be coming to pick her up they didn’t want me to pay because she wasn’t there that long all of the employees were playing with her it’s such a wonderful place. I still pay them for the day and they even offered to trim her nails. I’ve never seen a place with such fantastic service that cares for my dog.

I don't get to visit Jacksonville often, but I got very lucky finding this place! You aren't just a number here, the team and owner reach out to tell you how your kiddos are doing! They send pictures! They call you to ensure your kids are up-to-date on their vaccinations! Such a great place and really safe for your kids. Tall, TALL gates, even my jumpers cannot reach over their gates! Thanks a lot Brian!

I felt so at ease dropping my dog off with Linda and Jay. They reassured me my pet would be taken care of and were really great in updating me when they could on how my dogs stay was going. I really really appreciate the respect, kindness, & care given to not only me but my dog as well. I can see why so many people come to leave their pets here. Very happy we found such a great boarding facility and daycare for our dog. Linda was always very friendly. The staff took great care of our fur baby while on vacation and even got a video update during her stay. She came home as clean as when we dropped her off. Thank you fresh prints staff!

Very lovely and kind people here! Sure it doesn't have some fancy pool and cameras so you can sit and watch your dog all the time but you know what they do have? Great employees who care about your pet, toys, and space for them to play in a safe environment. We had our previous dog come here and after he passed away we started bringing our new dog and she loves every minute of it. She gets good and tired and we feel comfortable having her there. Our Ellie girl gives it 10 🐾 out of 10 🐾!

I could see him in his kennel in the camera and he’s so relaxed. He was given his peanut butter treats in his bone as requested, he had access to his toys and he was given his medication. He absolutely loves going to camp here and the camp counselors/rufferees are SO attentive which gives me so much peace of mind leaving him with them.💙💙💙 Thanks for all you do!!!

Please God, please, if you love your fur babies, find another place. I was charged almost $100. extra for a holiday rate that I was not told about when I dropped them off. Then charged for an afternoon pickup when I wasn't told about that either. I never once saw my cats out of their cabana nor did I see the door open. To Adair, who was too busy to call me back, I knew I shouldn't have left my cats with you. What an absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I wish I could leave zero stars. 😪

This place is amazing! The staff is very friendly and truly cares about all the animals. I’ve been using them for over a year, they accommodate any need or last minute need that comes up. I have even had my dog go through their training program and the trainers there are amazing a. She came out so much better than when she went in. I’m recommend this Pet Paradise location to anyone I know. So pleased with them in every aspect.

I took my little toy poodle Coco to pet Paradise for the first time on this past Wednesday, it was definitely a great experience for myself and my pet when I picked her up after being groomed she was happy and I could tell she was well taken care of her groomer was Pamela. She is awesome and so is the place. I have already made my next appointment for Coco!!!

Staff was incredibly kind, and their care with my dog reflected in their ability to trim his nails and complete the ultimate bath. Normally he is too anxious to allow other groomers (even his normal vet) to do these things - previously he had only been getting nail trims when getting vaccines (while ASLEEP) due to his anxiety. I’m so thankful, very much considering transitioning to pet paradise for all needs.

Friendliness of staff, excellent care and attention to our dogs, fair pricing, military discount, great management, clean environment , vet on site, cameras, good variety of add-ons like treats, playtime, ice cream.

Love, love, love Pet Paradise. Oh, my dog Bella does too! Well, she's more on the obsessed side. They take great care of her and she loves swimming. She whimpers half way home when I pick her up. I'm convinced that's her asking for more play time in the pool. She went there just about every week day for the first two years of her life until.i was certain she was ready to be on her own. The one drawback - they cannot kill her energy, but I can't blame them for that. She still wants to play when she gets home but that's all her 🥰

Our doodle has the best time going to Pet Paradise. The associates are always happy to greet him and they take the best care of him. He loves playing with the other dogs in Day Camp and we love being able to check on him with the livestream cameras! The groomer is fantastic and we like that he comes home clean after a day of fun and a bath.

This is my Pet Paradise of choice. We’ve taken my dog to other locations, but this one is the best!!! Apparently, this was the first location, and they told me that they actually like dogs! @ayoitskailo always has a good time at this location. They even put a life vest on him and helped him swim 🥹 they love him, and we love taking him there!

Highly recommend Pet Paradise on University for daycare and boarding. My puppy is very spoiled and always by my side so the anxiety on both sides was big but we were able to walk in at any time to tour pet paradise. We booked our shih tzu Charlie for boarding for a weekend and got a free get acquainted day which was great. We dropped him off before work and picked him up after and he had sooo much fun at his first day of daycare. We even got to see him on social media which I loveeee. Once we dropped him off for boarding, staff asked great questions like if were available during our trip to be reached at any time, If there’s a time difference etc. we paid the $5 for a report card which were so sweet. Personalized pictures and report of how he was doing each day. I even called to check on him and they were so specific mentioning he hasn’t been eating but he’s slowly gaining confidence. By his second day, I saw pictures of staff holding him which is so big because he can be mean to other people carrying him!! Pet Paradise really cares for the details and puts in the effort to ease parents and also bond with the dogs. I’m so grateful to have found a great place I trust. Also the price we paid for 2 nights and 3 days was incredible.

I can sum up how much I love Beach Bark’s doggie daycare in one sentence: I drive all the way from Murray Hill to bring my dog here. I have tried so many doggie daycares in JAX and Beach Bark is far above them all. There are acres of land for them to run and play, green grass, a clean pond (without a doubt that would be Eloise’s favorite), and there is always someone present. They spend most of the day outside playing but there is also a barn for them to go lay down, cool off or wait out a short Florida storm. Also, they always send me pictures at the end of the day (sometimes a video❤️). I was lucky enough to stumble across an article on Beach Bark in Unleash mag a couple years ago because this Google entry doesn't highlight the daycare-- Visit the website and give them a call!! Daycare is located off Roscoe Blvd and there are pick up and drop off services (for those in PV--not Murray Hill). Hands down best daycare. I only wish my pup could go more often!

Shannon and her staff are professional and kind. They truly love animals. The doggy daycare service is amazing. The dogs spend the day in a beautiful farm where they can swim in a lake and run around freely. My dog loves both the place and the people, and his behavior is much calmer at home. I can’t recommend them enough!

Shannon and her crew at Beach Bark have been so wonderful to our little fur babies. They are reliable and very good at communication and our pups just love it when the come over to walk or watch them! We have known Shannon for year and she runs a top notch biz!

I have used Beach Bark's services several times when I have left town. I was extremely impressed with the communication from this great staff. After every visit I would receive pictures and updates on how my cat was doing. It is a great peace of mind to know that when I am out of town I do not have to worry about Greg!!!!

They will Iive it up on what equates to a farm that is completely secure. Their staff is very responsible and they clearly love taking care of dogs. I could not be more satisfied.

Melissa and the staff are great. Day camp and boarding are both great and they have a great facility, with both outdoor and indoor rooms if the weather is bad. The best part is when all the dogs come to say hi when you come to pick up your dog.

Everything is Pawsible and the staff is AMAZING! Koda has so much fun and gets excited in the morning when I tell him we are going to daycare. I have also used them twice for boarding and will continue to do so. They treat your dog like their own and I put all of my trust in them to take care of my baby. We love you guys!

Ruby loves this place and all her friends. We do playcare but will board in future if need be. Prices are right. Location awesome and they are expanding. I’m glad it’s sort of a secret here at beaches. Im 8 blocks away and so so easy to give my young boisterous dog a place to play and socialize. Astrid convinced me to try them. And now my Scottie snd her Corgi are besties! Love love!

A great place for my grand dogs. They get so excited when I turn down the street. At the end of their visit, they are exhausted from all the play. We love the staff and their love for our fur babies.

Our dog knows this place as "daycare" and gets so excited when we say the word. He loves this place and comes home tired and happy.

What a great find for busy dog owners who live in apartments. Prices are reasonable, my dog gets excited when we pull up. So far so good…currently have my dog boarding there for a week. Very convenient and the staff is great.

I was very nervous about leaving our 2 Englich Bulldogs at boarding/daycare due to little exposure to other dogs. The staff especially Rachael was AWESOME in easing our nerves. Rachael reassured us with a video & updates.The staff KNOWS dog behaviournd well to group them with other dogs to play. Very pleased! Wonderful, clean, friendly, professional & affordable! Highly recommend!

Boarded my kitten for 2 days and came back to a happy kitten. He had the room to himself as they had no other “tenants” lol. They said he was a good kitten and didn’t have any issues. Which I am grateful and said he ate well. He has a sensitive stomach and we were nervous overall happy with them and the service they provided. Also they loved him very much, and didn’t want him to leave. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you again for taking care of Ash. Picture for cuteness.

I love this place! I have a puppy and it’s great to be able to bring her in for daycare - so much socialization, play time, and no more destroyed shoes haha. The staff here love dogs and are very friendly. They’re responsive, they prioritize safety, and they’re willing to work with you if your pup is having any issues. The kennel itself is clean, the yard is large, and there’s plenty of ways the dogs get their play in.

Friendly staff, clean facility, ample play areas. Dogs were happy and well cared for. Taking them back in the future.
