What a joy and an honor it was to have Phyllis and Jerry care for my home and my pets. I could write an epistle to describe in detail how much they did and how well they accomplished each responsibility. Our correspondence began many months ahead of my posted dates. Throughout this time, we stayed connected, and as we got closer, we shared more details about my home and care for the pets. Response time was prompt, friendly and courteous. They were incredibly flexible and understanding when I had to adjust my flight time and date. They arrived early on my departure day so we could have time for orientation, lunch, and conversation. Phyllis and Jerry were meticulous in following the instructions I left for cat and home care. They were dedicated to assuring me that things at home were going well by sending pictures of the cats included with special vignettes. They were respectful of my home and took great care of everything as if it were their own. For example, when the hose unexpectedly burst in the back yard on a hot day, they carried water in a bucket to my young Arbor Vitae trees. They are the kind of people who go the “extra mile” based on their high values and elevated work ethics. When I returned home, everything was glistening and spotless. The carpets had been vacuumed, the laundry completed, the dishwasher and waste baskets emptied, the stove shined, and the kitty litter was scooped and cleaned. My fur babies were happy and relaxed, an indication that they had excellent care while I was away. A delightful surprise was the colorful Autumn gift basket and note they left on the counter. I highly recommend Phyllis and Jerry in every way. They exceeded my expectations and fulfilled every task. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and fun to be around, and both have had a wide variety of experiences that translate into good common sense and wise decisions. It was truly my privilege to have the opportunity to meet them and to benefit from all they had to offer me, my home, and my cats.

Full Time Cat Lovers
Hodan and Sami continue to be great guests in our home and caretakers of our cats! We’ve had them stay before and they continue to be a pleasure. Our cats were well taken care of and Sami does a fantastic job at keeping us updated. He even checked in to make sure that the food machines were full and double checked to make sure that the right food was used to refill them. They were also flexible with our schedule as our flight was cancelled and we had to arrive the next day. To make sure our cats were well taken care of, they stayed longer to keep the cats company. We’d recommend Hodan and Sami to anyone who wants to ensure a great stay!

Kim was an incredible cat sitter! She was very friendly, organized, asked great questions before the sit, and took amazing care of our anxious cat Oscar. Oscar is a picky eater and we get nervous leaving him, but we could tell he was in good hands. Kim seemed genuinely excited to hang out Oscar. She sent us detailed, relevant updates on Oscar and our home. She also sent videos of Oscar. Our place was also very clean when we got back. Justine’s great. Kept me updated with photos of my very strange cat. She’s not very sociable but Justine knew how to deal with her, basically feed her then let her do her own thing! I would gladly employ Justine as my cleaner😂 Our house was cleaner than when I left it.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!
