Pet Sitting in Oak Lawn

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. 
Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention.
He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. 
He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. 
The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! 
We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. 
We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. 
Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). 
In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. 
We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Sheelagh

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful.
We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!

Meg was a dream pet sitter for my three year old labradoodle. She gave him nice long walks and was very organized, communicative and tidy. I look forward to another opportunity to have Meg in my home!

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!

Sharon was by far the best sitter I’ve ever had! From the very first time we connected, she was communicative and proactive with follow up. She asked great questions prior to her stay and I could tell she’s done this many times and that she genuinely cares about the pets and homes she cares for. BriAnna was our first pet sitter and we loved her :). She made every step very simple for us, communication was great, Pastis and Anubis seemed to be very happy with her, and the house was very clean when we came back. Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.

Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I highly recommend Janis and you will be fortunate to have her as your sitter.

Absolutely Incredible....
I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!
