We didn’t worry at all while we were away, as we knew Gizmo and our home were in safe hands. We find them to be a very capable, respectful and friendly couple. They sent regular photo updates and we could tell that our cat was very settled - which was also apparent on our return. J&M communicated really well prior to the sit, letting us know when they had arrived in the country and the times they would be arriving and leaving. They cared for our home exceptionally well. They even topped up cat food crunchies and changed bedding, and the house was very clean and tidy which was joy to return home to. We would strongly recommend them as house/pet sitters. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Randy and Joyce! From the first initial call with them my husband and I felt comfortable and at ease. 35 Year Old Dog Sitter - That works from home!
David watched my 10-year-old lab, Daisy, for two weeks while I was on vacation. He agreed to come before I left to meet Daisy and learn her routine. David gave me confidence in knowing Daisy would be well cared for while I was away. When I returned, Daisy and my home had been well cared for. As a first time Housesitters user, I didn’t really know what to expect. That being said, Charity set the bar really high! My home and my pet were taken care of just as if I’d been here myself. She sent pics and videos frequently during our trip. Daisy was having so much fun, I was worried she might want to leave with Charity. They went on walks and nature hikes and played with acorns every morning. And lots of snuggles every evening. Charity organized our mail and packages. cleaned the house, washed the towels and bedding - basically left our home in the same condition we left it. I would highly recommend Charity for a sit and plan on having her stay at our home again in the near future.

Annie befriended Katherine within minutes of her arrival and was curled up where Katherine had slept when we returned home. She was a very content kitty. Annie’s only special need is a thorough daily brushing; the lack of mats in her fur when we returned told us that she had been well cared for. We’re pleased that Katherine will be coming back for another sit next spring.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for! She was communicative and easy going. She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi. She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday. While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation". I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos. They definitely bonded. :) I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.

Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.

Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless.
