She was very friendly and our cat (who isn’t very social) even came out of hiding while she was here. We were out of the country and had no pet worries thanks to Danni’s care. I had a last minute trip come up, and was relieved Valerie was able to take care of my kitties in a pinch. I liked her immediately upon meeting her, and felt her great energy would be a perfect match for my shy kitties. As far as I could tell, Valerie took good care of the kitties while I was away. The communication was just okay. She eventually replied to my messages about this and that, but didn't really initiate or share little updates or photos of the kitties and how it was going unless I reached out first. When I came home, I discovered that an item of mine was missing and asked her if she had seen it anywhere, thinking I must have misplaced it before I left. She acknowledged she had taken it, but didn't actually apologize, incredibly, and then it was a real struggle to try to get it back or at least have her send a replacement. After much persistence and pursuit on my part and quite the runaround on her part, she eventually replaced it, but I was a bit taken aback by her blasé attitude about taking it in the first place and then casual avoidance to resolving the situation. All very surprising, and an unfortunate disheartening footnote to the petsit. All that being said, she left my house very clean and tidy, and the kitties seemed very calm and content when I returned.

She was super independent while staying at our house and sent us lots of daily pictures of our dog. It was clear they got along very well, and she was very dedicated to his walks and care. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

What a lovely couple Tara and Tyler are. They had been in Scottsdale about six weeks before the house sit. and can to meet us. Rusé, our Toy Fox Terrier, fell in love with them immediately, and was in Tara’s arms within two minutes. We always like our sitters to arrive the day before we leave, take them out to dinner and get to know them. It was quite apparent from the videos and photos we received, that Rusé did not miss us. Tara and Tyler’s three grown up children joined them before Xmas-to Rusé’s delight as these were additional hands to throw his rubber bones and balls. The house was all clean and tidy, when we returned.. There is a strong possibility that Tara and Tyler will move to Arizona from Montana, with two of their children, recently moved to the area. They have already offered to look after Rusé in the future. We know he would love it. We cannot recommend Tyler and Tara higher enough, they were perfect House and Pet sitters

She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. SHELLEY IS AMAZING!!! Truly- I don't know what I could have possibly done to deserve the care Shelley and her daughter Jen gave to our pets and our home. They faced truly abysmal weather here in New Orleans and could have re-routed their whole trip to find better weather, but they kept their commitment to us. The house was sparkling and neat as a pin when we returned. Our very own network of spies (i.e.- the friends at the dog park where Shelley kept our daily 7:00 AM appointment) said that they were the best sitters we have ever had. Our skiddish Labradoodle and lazy beagle loved them at first sight. If you have a chance to have Shelley house sit for you then count yourself lucky because she is a treasure. Like Mary Poppins for pets. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
