Giselle kept my Dog Elijah for 5 days and kept me informed on how he was doing daily with pictures and text messages. I have used Playful Paws Petcare multiple times to care for my sweet fur-baby. Gisell takes great care of him and he always has the best time making friend with other dogs and playing! Due to his sensitive skin and stomach issues, he needs medications administered and close eye to monitor if there are any issues to arise, which Gisell does a great job. Gizell is wonderful! She is very kind and has a beautiful, clean home and set up for keeping animals. Nice fence too! I am so happy to have chosen her to care for my 4 dogs!! She handled that crew well, no doubt! She kept in touch every day sending pictures or videos, which was fun for me to see. During my trip I felt very confident that my dogs were safe and happy! Caren is the absolute best!! I hate leaving my dog with anyone because he’s been know to escape and I really can’t relax on vacation knowing this. Our family has a cat named George we love dearly. The children and I recently took a two week vacation and did not want to leave George in a boarding kennel or with friends or neighbors for that length of time. Having The Collar Club of Virginia come into our home was so much better and without a doubt I know that George was lovingly looked after. When Caren came over to meet George for the first time, he immediately took to her and she was so sweet to him. George is a cat who needs a lot of attention. Caren recognized that immediately and went right to his basket of toys. She was excellent from the start - Caren is beyond reliable, dependable and qualified. She sent us pictures of George while we were away with little notes letting us know how he was doing. She brought in our papers and adjusted the lights each day, took out our trash and even coordinated with a serviceman for some plumbing work while we were gone. Caren is professional, kind, goes the extra mile for a wonderful experience for BOTH human and pet ! When we needed help transporting 2 kittens that we had adopted online to our home from the airport, Caren helped us out enormously! There were some issues with picking up the kittens, but Caren handled them very professionally and kindly. She was prompt, attentive, and very loving towards our kittens. Caren is a professional. Absolutely reliable - she goes above and beyond. My 16 year old kitty takes insulin shots twice a day and requires extra TLC. Caren handled this with ease. Caren is such a kind person and cares endlessly for animals. We enlisted Caren to care for our golden retriever Mosby for 2.5 days. We did one over night stay and twice daily walks. She constantly updated us with photos and comments on what he was up to. Sarah and her team have been the best caretakers of our animals! We started out with one puppy and weekly walks and playdates for socialization and exercise. When we added another puppy, we added more walks and playdates. My doggies look forward to their time with Sarah, Monika and all the other excellent caregivers. I cannot say enough about Sarah Sits-N-Stays! Look no further if you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies! We have been using Sarah's company since moving to Richmond in August 2022 and couldn't be happier. My partner and I have very hectic schedules, but we have never been unable to schedule a daily walk and lunch for our dog and cat (even sometimes at the last minute!). We have also used them for overnight visits during weekends we are away. We have never been concerned and always feel safe knowing Sarah's company is taking care of them. They even send pictures and updates every day summarizing their time together. Our dog Teddy is always happy (as you can see!) and well-exercised when we get home. Even our cat, who is not much of a "people person," has warmed up to the staff. We have had nothing but good experiences with all the walkers/sitters, but I would like to give a special shoutout to Madi who is our main walker. She is AMAZING and Teddy absolutely LOVES her! From the moment Marla came over for the meet & greet, she somehow calmed my timid dog with just her presence. We can’t recomend All For Cobalt highly enough! I was nervous about traveling but when we met I knew my 4 cats were in great hands. I could tell right away that Marla loved animals, was extremly experienced, and super detailed. She took notes on each kitty and there were backup plans to the backup plans. Marla sends daily updates and it was awesome to watch the shyest cats slowly fall in love with her through daily updates! I would give a 100 out of 5 stars if I could - it’s such a relief when your away that someone who genunily cares and has a ton of experience is coming by to spoil your little munchkins.

Marla is fantastic!!! All for Cobalt was recommended to me when we were trying to figure out what to do with our kitty, Billy, while on vacation this year. I had been completely stressed thinking I was going to have to drive home several times during the week to check on him. Let me just say, Marla is the best!! She visited Billy 4 times while we were gone, made sure he was fed, had water and cleaned his box. On top of that she stayed for about 45 mins, brought him toys and catnip, AND he loved her! Billy doesn’t like people; however we got pictures and videos of him not only on his own but him right there with Marla allowing her to pet him, play with him and brush him!! I am beyond pleased and will never have anyone else come to care for him! I highly recommend Marla with All for Cobalt!

I highly recommend All for Cobalt pet care! Can't say enough good things about the care provided to our older chihuahuas, one of which requires medication and a special diet. Marla took the time to get to know them, their routine, and us prior to pet sitting. Our dogs almost immediately took to her. I took my Golden Doodle for grooming at Dogs Day Inn. Jess, his groomer, is simply amazing at her job. I really didn't appreciate how talented she is until I had another groomer cut him a few months ago. Her attention to detail, technique, and ability to shape my Doodle's hair is what sets her apart from the rest. If you want a professional cut for your Doodle, call dogs day inn and schedule and appointment with Jess. I promise you will not take your dog anywhere else after you experience her expertise.

Our doggies seem to always enjoy their kennel stay at DDI. We opt for them to get a bath before pick up. Their fur is so soft with a nice fragrance.

Dogs Day Inn is the only place I trust for my dog! While they may not be the newest facility around, the staff's warmth and friendliness more than make up for it. My dog absolutely loves it here and is always happy when I pick her up. At some of the newer places, my dog has come home scared and anxious, but at Dogs Day Inn, she never wants to leave! The care and attention they provide are top-notch, and I know my dog feels safe and loved every time she’s there. If you're looking for a place where your dog will be treated like family, this is it. I can't recommend them enough!

We always board our two dogs here. They come home happy and tired from all the fun. It's the staff that keeps us coming back. The facility is not the newest or best appointed facility in town, but the people make the difference for us.

My dog absolutely loves this place. We had tried multiple other places (for boarding) and I had found that he was incredibly anxious entering and leaving all of those other places. But with Dogs Day Inn I found that Archie has been repeatedly excited to enter and is always happy and not at all anxious when he leaves. It appears that they pay close attention to each dog, and give them love and care while their owners are away! Couldn't recommend it more.

Great family oriented services. My babies get boarded and groomed here. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and I’d dare not dream about taking them anywhere else. My dogs (Dutch Shepherd and a Yorkie) start turning in circles and whining as soon as we pull into the parking lot because of their excitement to go in! I have to tell them to stop it because it’s so annoying 🙄. It was so bad one day I had to call the owner because I was so tickled at their behavior. It’s like instant gratification for them and they know exactly where they’re at. I have recommended this place since I found it back when Paige was the owner, and now that her daughter Kris has taken over I still have the same stance! There’s no place better that I’d trust with my babies. So much so that even my mom started boarding her babies here. Great job to the team! You’ve gained a loyal customer for as long as I’m in the area!!!!

He has been responsible for taking care of my 15 year labradoodle many many times and always confirms if Tag is still taking this medication or that one. Premier and its employees have always been on time and each visit comes with photos, an email about their adventures and a report about what was taken care of. Have been using Premier Pets for years and have nothing but great things to say about them. On one visit, my cat was sick and the sitter, in communication with me (in Mexico) and the the Owner, Martha Geiger, took my cat to the emergency vet after hours. Everything turned out fine.

Premiere was a great help to me with my dog EV. Their Time to Pet app is a way to keep track of visits and get a nice summary of your pet's behavior. You also get some lovely photos. The staff was always communicative and kind. I would absolutely use them again.

Martha and her team are the best! They provide such great service and peace of mind when we travel. Their communication is excellent. We love all of the pictures they send of our kitties. We've used other pet services in the past and Premiere Petsitting really goes the extra mile. I know our fur babies are in great hands while we are away! One less worry. Thank you! We were nervous about leaving our two cats for 8 days. They are very attached to us and haven't been around other people very much. Martha, the professional and compassionate owner of Premiere Petsitting, assigned cat-lover Kerensa as our main sitter. As soon as she came for the meet and greet, our worries dissipated. She was friendly and warm - we knew our kitties would be in good hands. She, along with another lovely sitter, Lillian, sent us twice daily updates with photos. It was such a relief not to worry how our kitties were doing - the reports we received put our minds at ease during our trip. Martha utilizes a mobile app for her business that makes it easy to check on your schedule, messages, and invoices. I would not hesitate to recommend Premiere Petsitting to anyone. We will definitely use Martha and her excellent team again in the future!

This was the first time I've used a pet sitting service & I was a little concerned about how my cat would handle someone else taking care of him. I needn't have worried! Katie took such great care of our fur baby that I think he was somewhat disappointed upon our return!..lol. I especially appreciated the report & pics after every visit. Many thanks to Martha who was able to accommodate my last minute request & enabled us to really relax and enjoy our vacation. Highly recommend!

Our family has been using Premiere Petsitting for years. Their portal makes scheduling and communication a breeze, and the reports from the sitters, with lots of photos, are always informative and friendly. They clearly care about the animals they are taking care of.

Martha and her entire team are just truly top-notched, particularly for very busy people and families. They care for our dogs so well and have an app that makes scheduling and updates easy, 24/7. Would recommend to anyone!

We hired Martha and Premiere Petsitting to watch our cats while we were on a 26 day vacation. Before we left Martha came over and took notes on all the details about care and feeding of our cats and how to gain entry to our house. We received daily email updates from Premiere including photos. In addition, they watered our plants and collected the mail. We were extremely pleased and will hire them again next month. I highly recommend them.

Bugsy loves going to Four Paws on Hamilton Street in Richmond! They are very kind and gentle with him when we arrive. The staff eased him into the yard during his first visit. Now, he can't wait to play with all of his new doggie friends and it seems that when it's time to go home he wants to stay longer. I feel at ease knowing he is with people who care so much about the doggies under their care!

Since moving to the area, Four Paws has been such a gift for me and my golden. She is always eager to jump out of the car and run inside when she realizes we are heading there for daycare. It is so convenient to be able to board her there as well, with people, pets, and surroundings she is comfortable and familiar with. When it comes to our pet needs, there’s no one we trust more than the kind and helpful staff at Four Paws in the Fan 🙂

My dog Dexter has been going to Four paws fan location since he was a puppy. I love the fact that he gets to play all day, unlike some daycares that keep them caged most of the day. Dex loves it there. It’s his second favorite place to be (home is first of course). The employees are very nice, but most importantly, I like the way they treat Dexter.

I cannot say enough about how incredible the staff at Four Paws is. My sweet boy is an anxious guy and he absolutely loves going to hang out at daycare. Emma, Bailey, and Ericka have always been so welcoming and informative - we’re very grateful to have found them after moving to the area.

I have been pleasantly surprised by Four Paws! Their Hamilton St. location is just down the street from my new job. I took our Bichon, Finn, there for day care because we had just moved to the area and I wasn't sure about leaving him home all day. They took great care of him and he seemed happy at the end of the day. I also just recently used their boarding services when we went out of town for a few days. Again, they took great care of him. The staff are very friendly and genuinely love dogs. :-) I always know that Finn is in good hands there. I also appreciate their very reasonable and affordable prices. Four Paws is 100% Finn-approved! (see attached picture)

We just started here and love it! My dog, noodles, has come home so tired in the best way when I pick her up! Also love they have an indoor area for rainy days.

My pup has been going to Four Paws for almost a year now and he loves it! He only goes a twice a week for daycare, but as soon as we pull into the parking lot his tail starts going crazy and he's itching to go play with all his friends. We also board him here when we travel out of town and it gives me such a peace of mind to know that he's playing constantly when I'm gone and being cared for so well. All the staff is so kind and easy to work with!

I have taken way too long to leave this review! WE LOVE FOUR PAWS! Angus has so much fun and gets to run and play for hours on end. The first day we brought him, they managed to convince him to let them cut his nails (and charged nothing for the first time), which was 1) an amazing first impression and 2) a huge relief for a dog mom tired of wrestling with a 65 pound scaredy cat. He left that day completely tuckered out, which was beautiful. They send pictures often and give updates on how his day went whenever I come to pick him up. Such sweet humans, and a service worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Absolutely adore this doggy daycare. First, kudos to them for their required human tour. Aspens been to several doggy daycares and NEVER have I seen the inside of one. Our tour was at 10-11am, so there were already dozens of dogs there. The facilities are so beautiful, clean, and organized, AND they are staffed 24/7! I am obsessed! They are incredibly attentive to the dogs and truly seem to love their jobs. I’m very happy with my decision to move Aspen to Toby Town. They work with my crazy EMS hours on the weekend, allowing Aspen to be dropped off early for a small fee. They also have pools for the water lovers, like Aspen, which is so fun for her. I’m so happy with Toby Town and am thrilled to have found her such a caring, compassionate, and safe daycare!

Our 12 year old adapted Labrador, Bogey, loves Toby Town! Every time he comes home he can't stop talking about what a wonderful stay he had and how kind and attentive all of the staff members were to him. He loves the amenities, the indoor and outdoor play areas, the optional snacks and the overall cleanliness. Suffice to say, if Bogey is happy, we are happy with Toby Town!

Our pup has had a great time here and comes home exhausted. They offer amenities that can make your life easier (baths, etc). Place runs like a well oiled machine and go in get plenty of pics at the end of the day!

My husband and I bring our boy Murphy to Toby Town once a week. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. He always looks SO happy and as soon as he sees where we are going in the morning, he is crying out of excitement. I feel bad for the morning worker (I’m so sorry!) who grabs him because he is literally a wild man jumping out of the car to go play. Every worker is incredibly kind and really care about your dog. Tobytown is by far the BEST daycare and boarding facility in Richmond, VA. Gloria and her staff truly care about the dogs and their safety and comfort. It is the ONLY dog care facility you can walk in that does not smell AT ALL! No odor in any room or outdoor area. We leave our dog for long stays and he comes home happy and healthy. Tobytown posts lots of facebook and IG pictures to see how your dog is doing for daycare and lengthy stays. We appreciate Tobytown so much!

Best day care ever! Every single staff member works hard to cater to your dogs needs. My dog Charlie absolutely loves it. He has a little bit of separation anxiety and they care for him so well. They are friendly during pick up and drop off and they will work with you on times and days! Toby Town is kind, friendly, clean and safe for your dog. I wish I could give every staff member a hug because they take care of my dog so well. I am so thankful I found Toby Town! Absolutely Amazing!

I have small dogs and was a daycare novice prior to Toby Town. With a new puppy I wanted to make sure she was socialized so I began looking at daycares for her. After visiting several facilities I chose Toby Town because it was clean, bright and seemed to be staffed with grown ups. I liked that they didn't use crates and seemed to want to meet the needs of the pups first vs the needs of the facility. Having my puppy at Toby Town has been a great experience- the staff is consistent and communicative, and I feel like they keep an eye on her (as she's only 8 lbs). Quite honestly, she is the best dog and people socialized of my pack and I feel I have Toby Town to thank for that.

Best dog daycare in the area!!! We have tried several dog boarding options, and we believe Toby town has the most personal care and is the best value for what you pay. I don’t know how they have collected so many wonderful staff members, but we enjoy all our interactions with the employees and owner!! They remember my dog Wally and talk about how it went at the end of the weekend.

The staff at Toby Town are fabulous. My pup loves spending the day or several nights at Toby Town, and I always know she'll get great care. It's a great place to take your dog for day care and boarding.

Toby Town is amazing! My dog Titan loves to go there and they take great care of him. The place is beautiful and cleaner than any human day care center!! Gloria, the owner, treats my dog as if he were her own. I wouldn't hesitate to board him there because someone is always there to watch out for him. I can't recommend this facility enough!
