Introduction
We are a large family of 7 who live in the Broad Ripple area. Our home is spacious, comfortable and very well situated. It easily sleeps 7. Gorgeous place to get away to, to feel at home away from home. We have 2 friendly gorgeous dogs and 4 hens. We have a large fenced in yard in a quiet neighbourhood in walking distance to the restaurants and amenities. Beautiful walks along the river and canal, access to Monon Trail , cycle trails and close to Marrott and Holliday Parks.

We are based in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis in a beautiful 3 bedroom home which was recently renovated. The open plan layout and fact everything is on one level makes the house feel cosy yet spacious. The large yard gives plenty of space to play with a lovely patio and fire place. The wraparound deck is perfect for morning coffee and afternoon chats. We are in a very quiet street with parking in front and easy access to restaurants and shops just a short walk away

We have 2 beautiful and friendly dogs. One is a retired therapy dog aged 14.5, Tuli, and one is a 7 year old Great Dane x Labrador, Belle. Both are very gentle and kid friendly and love to go for walks and have cuddles. They only stay in the living area, not bedrooms and don’t go on the furniture and are well behaved. We would need them walked at least once a day, fed morning and evening and let out regularly for potty breaks. Please pick up dog poo from the yard daily. Chickens need to be fed, watered daily with oyster shell added and meal worm treats sporadically. Let chickens out each morning to range freely and clean coop tray out daily with complete change of bedding weekly. Please feel free to cuddle at will and give food treats. Please refill water and food before closing into the coop at night.

I had a lovely time with Tulli and Belle during my stay. They were well behaved dogs, they both love walks and bathing in the sun. The two Guinea Pigs were fun to watch and care for. It was nice to have fresh eggs in the morning made by the 6 hens in the backyard. I found enjoyment in my morning with the Hens. Sunny was my favorite. Prior to my stay, Jules and the family were welcoming and show me around the home. I was given easy, yet detail instructions to care for all animals. Throughout my stay I was able to communicate with the owners if needed. The area is a walkable quiet neighborhood with tons of parks, restaurants, and coffee shops.

Jules and Randy were very kind and quick to help whenever it came to anything. The instructions they left were very clear. The home is very nice and everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. All the animals had unique personalities and it was wonderful getting to know each and every one of them. I would certainly recommend this sit to anyone.! Thank you for your trust , it mean a lot to us :)

What an absolute pleasure it was to housesit for Jules, Randy and their lovely family! They made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy the sit and take care of gorgeous Thuli and Belle. Belle is a complete gentle giant, loves affection and cuddles and will outplay any pup half her age. I got so many admiring glances from people passing us on our walks when they saw such a big powerful dog walking so beautifully and effortlessly on a lead. Our walks together (along with my dog Colt) were an effortless pleasure. Belle will tell you that she is allowed on the couch, but her mom assures me this is not true. Good luck saying no to that face! 😁 Thuli stole my heart - she is a sweet girl who needs compassionate, loving care and you will be rewarded a million times over with a nose nudge, the insistent request for a head scratch or a lovely solid lean on your leg or head on your foot while you are watching TV. She is slowing down in her mature years but still perks up at signs of a walk and she appreciates a quiet soft cuddle in the evenings after dinner. "The girls" will definitely give you a talking to if you aren't what they consider "on time" for their morning feed. 😂 But you will still get a handful of delicious fresh eggs! Jules and Randy's home is lovely with stunning views of the friendly neighbourhood and you will enjoy every minute of your time in Broad Ripple exploring the nearby restaurants as well as the Monon Trail which was the route of many a walk through Indianapolis. All in all a great housesit and we hope to be back soon!

She was very prompt with her planning, very reliable, kind and gentle and loving with all our animals and polite and respectful of our home and ourselves.
