Introduction
We are a large family of 7 who live in the Broad Ripple area. Our home is spacious, comfortable and very well situated. It easily sleeps 7. Gorgeous place to get away to, to feel at home away from home. We have 2 friendly gorgeous dogs and 4 hens. We have a large fenced in yard in a quiet neighbourhood in walking distance to the restaurants and amenities. Beautiful walks along the river and canal, access to Monon Trail , cycle trails and close to Marrott and Holliday Parks.

We are based in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis in a beautiful 3 bedroom home which was recently renovated. The open plan layout and fact everything is on one level makes the house feel cosy yet spacious. The large yard gives plenty of space to play with a lovely patio and fire place. The wraparound deck is perfect for morning coffee and afternoon chats. We are in a very quiet street with parking in front and easy access to restaurants and shops just a short walk away

We have 2 beautiful and friendly dogs. One is a retired therapy dog aged 14.5, Tuli, and one is a 7 year old Great Dane x Labrador, Belle. Both are very gentle and kid friendly and love to go for walks and have cuddles. They only stay in the living area, not bedrooms and don’t go on the furniture and are well behaved. We would need them walked at least once a day, fed morning and evening and let out regularly for potty breaks. Please pick up dog poo from the yard daily. Chickens need to be fed, watered daily with oyster shell added and meal worm treats sporadically. Let chickens out each morning to range freely and clean coop tray out daily with complete change of bedding weekly. Please feel free to cuddle at will and give food treats. Please refill water and food before closing into the coop at night.

Everything about this sit was well worth the while. A loving family, terrific animals and a wonderful home to rest in an architecturally fascinating area. Jules was so gracious orienting me to the home and all of the fabulous pets and their little homes! She was patient and provided detailed notes on the who, what, when and how. The two dogs were precious and there are some terrific walking areas right out the front door. The hens were talkative and fun and the Guinea Pigs were a new experience for me with their passion for broccoli! I could have all the peace and quiet I desired at their home and in the gardens, or, there is also nearby a very popular street(s) with a wide array of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful sit in Indy at Jules' home. She had the home professionally cleaned as we arrived and made sure to accommodate our large family with enough sleeping space and bathing towels. Belle and Tuli were the best girls ever and were a joy to watch. They were both extremely well-mannered and fun to go on walks with. Everyone in the neighborhood loved seeing Belle and she was gentle enough for our 12 year old to walk without worrying that she would pull or bolt at other animals. It was easy to take care of the hens and chicks, and we enjoyed having the fresh eggs every day. Our twins enjoyed watching the guinea pigs forage around their pen for food and held them occasionally. By far the best experience was chatting with Jules' oldest son about his beekeeping. It was a wonderful learning experience for our homeschooling family and he was very communicative in letting us know when he'd be over to check on the bees. We would come back to watch Jules' home any time and can't wait to see Belle and Tuli again.

Matt completed this sit solo: Jules picked me up at the airport and I spent a few days with her wonderful family before they headed out on their vacation. I had plenty of time to learn the routine for the dogs, guinea pigs, hens and chickadees. Their home is very large and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood with a nearby river and canal walk. Jules, Randy and their children made me feel very welcome and I had easy written instructions for taking care of the animals. Tuli and Belle are very sweet, well-behaved dogs. Tuli will sit by you all day hoping to get pets and Belle will lean against you if you sit or stand still for a minute. Even though Belle is a big girl she is very gentle and never pulled hard on her leash. The guinea pigs were a little too skittish to pick up and cuddle. But the hens on the other hand were incredibly friendly and always came running over to greet me during their free-range time. I loved having fresh eggs each day from the coop. I had a great time taking care of the home and animals. It felt like I my own little mini-farm for the week. If we make our way back to Indianapolis I would love to sit for them again with Cheri.

We loved our time at Jules' home! It's in a beautiful neighborhood, right next to a beautiful river greenway for daily walks and 10 minutes or less to walk to the Broad Ripple main strip as well as the Monon and Canal bike paths. We brought our bikes and enjoyed some lovely fall days. Their chickens and guinea pigs are easy to care for and the fresh eggs were delicious. The dogs are so sweet we absolutely fell in love with them and miss them. They are very well-trained by Jules and it's important to keep those manners and routine consistent. Jules was very communicative and answered any and all questions we had during our time. We would come back!

We really enjoyed this first house sitting experience. The location is great and you can walk to anything you need, groceries, restaurants, etc. The dogs were perfect and collecting and eating fresh eggs was really fun!

She was very prompt with her planning, very reliable, kind and gentle and loving with all our animals and polite and respectful of our home and ourselves.
