Introduction
My husband and I live in a large 5 bedroom house set in 2 acres of land with large fenced in beautiful garden, the house is surrounded by fields and have lovely walks from the house. I am a very keen gardener, have a raised vegetable patch and a greenhouse. We have 3 married daughters all living away from home and six grandchildren. We are active for our age and keen golfers and Gardeners’ and love our holidays. We have a 4 year old black Labrador Finn who we leave behind when we travel abroad.

our house is situated on the outskirts of a village close to the M3 and 15 mins from M25. The house sits in 2 acres of well kept garden, two raised vegetable beds and a fruit cage for raspberries .The house faces south so gets all the days sun. It looks out over fields we own also. The house has five bedrooms two bathrooms, 2 reception rooms, dining room , kitchen and utility room. There is a large conservatory overlooking our garden which leads out to the terrace where you can sit and enjoy an evening drink. We have daily help and a gardener and most of the garden is automatically watered. There are lovely nearby in Windsor Forest, round Virginia Water and Lightwater Park as well as walks straight from the house out to fields. There is a theatre in Guildford and one in Windsor, cinemas in Camberly and Bracknell which are both nearby, You will have the choice of a double bed or a twin bedded room the bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Basically looking after, loving and walking our black labrador, he is a loving very well behaved dog, loves his walks and his food! Being 6 years old he is quite active I take him out first thing, he has a longer walk any time to suit in the morning and late afternoon has a short walk.. We do have a greenhouse which might need a little watering in the summer but otherwise the garden is automatically watered. In the summer when we are away there will be lots of vegetables and fruit for you to pick and eat. We would also need you generally to look after our house and keep an eye on things especially in the winter months.We have daily help once a week and regular gardeners so that side is all taken care of, we just like having trustworthy people in our house when we are away. To keep in regular touch with us when we are away. We have a house in Cornwall which we like to visit most months during the summer, we can take Finn with us or leave him with you but we do like to have the house occupied as we are a bit away from other houses and feel a bit vulnerable.

As our first experience of sitting in the UK, we couldn’t have been happier. We had such a comfortable & happy stay in Hannah & David’s lovely home. Their garden is stunning & all the more spectacular as we were there in glorious weather. They welcomed us warmly & gave us the lowdown on looking after Finn & the garden. What a joy Finn was. He is such a well behaved dog, highly intelligent & very affectionate. We loved our daily walks with him & thoroughly enjoyed exploring the various footpaths in the area. We just loved looking after Finn. Hannah’s home is extremely comfortable with everything we needed. We even had delicious fresh vegetables from the garden. We would definitely recommend this house sit for other house sitters.

We had a warm welcome and a wonderful time with a lovely comfy home and peaceful garden to enjoy. Lots of walks and places of interest to visit. We were very impressed with how friendly people were and would strongly recommend this sit to future pet sitters.

Had a great sit with Finn in his beautiful home in the Surrey countryside. Hannah and David were both very warm and welcoming with dinner on arrival and the next morning Hannah drove us round the local area and took us on one of Finn’s regular walks. We had good conversation throughout and their friends were always on hand to give more suggestions of places to walk and visit. Their home is on the outskirts of the local village so a car is advisable to be able to explore the many attractions roundabout and beautiful walks nearby. Finn though was the star of the sit. Such a lovable lab who was happy to do anything or go anywhere and was always so well behaved. He walked us miles, showed us lots of amazing countryside usually with a great coffee shop at the end. Perfect buddy. If you get the chance to sit here snap it up, you won’t be disappointed.

Staying at Hannah`s home was a delight. The home was warm and comfortable and in a great location for a great many different walks. Hannah prepared us some lunch and cooked an evening meal which she left for us to enjoy after they had left. The wildlife on the doorstep was amazing from owls to Woodpeckers in the garden. The cleaner and gardener were great people and also spoke very highly of Hannah. Finn, what a wonderful dog he is, full of fun but also very loving and loyal. We purchased a few little items for him to play with as we felt that we really wanted to spoil him whilst we looked after him for 4 weeks. We would recommend this house sit to anyone that likes long walks with a lovely dog in a comfortable home. We would be very happy to sit for Hannah again in the future.

Hannah and David made us very welcome in their lovely home. They were kind enough to make us a meal before they left and gave us a thorough handover. They have a wonderful large garden which is very well kept. We were happy to do a bit of gardening while we were there but were not obliged to, we just enjoy doing it. A very enjoyable stay for a lovely couple! We will be going back shortly for 2 weeks so looking forward to it as there are so many great places to visit in the vicinity. Thank you, Paul & Sue.
