Well located and cozy flat, fully equipped with kitchen appliances, smarTV, wi-fi, washing machine, etc. Besides household items, there is also a self-cleaning litter box and automatic food dispensers for the cats - for the latter there are 2 items, one for each cat. Free parking. About 10 minutes cycling from the Scheveningen beach and about 7 minutes cycling from the city center. My flat is surrounded by cafes and restaurants within a walking distance.

They usually eat dry food only early three times in the morning around 6:00 (that's when I replace the water) and 9:30. Then they eat three times at the end of the day, around 18:00, around 20:30, and lastly around 22:00. If I'm home, I give them treats throughout the day (5 pieces per cat every time, 4 times per day max - or 20 pieces a cat/day). I have automatic food dispensers, but would also provide some portions in the plastic bags as a backup just in case. I have to say: in the morning, Ragga may try to wake you up as of 5:30 am for food. I hope you're a morning person! He hasn't been doing it lately though. In fact, the more I play with him before going to bed, the more he sleeps in. Leena is a very modest eater, I always release 2 portions of food and hope she eats as much as she can. When she is done and there's still food left, I put it back in the dispenser before Ragga comes to eat it. I'm very careful with seemingly harmless items which can hurt them, like a plastic bag (or any bag with a handle) - Ragga has gotten stuck in my lunch bag once :( Furthermore, although they're cats, they're very much into having a person close by to play or just to be there. They're very fond of interaction with humans, each in their way. This is why I always prefer someone staying over rather than coming and feeding them occasionally - that doesn't mean you cannot go for a long walk or a day trip somewhere ;). In that case, I would suggest that you overfeed them before you go (e.g. if you have a dinner at 19:00, please feed Ragga 2 portions at once and feed Leena whatever she manages to eat before you go). When the weather is nice, I open the balcony and fully trust the cats won't jump out, however I keep it closed when it's too windy - I don't trust the hook which holds the balcony door open. I can explain further via phone or face to face.

I had a wonderful sit with Ragga and Leena at Ana’s home. I have experienced Ana as a warm and friendly person who cares greatly about her two cats as well as the comfort of you as a sitter. Communication and making agreements went smoothly and effortlessly. Ragga and Leena were the best companions with their unique and different personalities, they really love to be around you and engage with you. They brought so much joy during my stay and I already miss waking up to Ragga’s face trying to lure me into giving him his desired food or to finding Leena curled up beside my legs. Apartment itself and location are great as well. Very recommended sit, can’t wait to see all three again!

I really enjoyed my days with Ragga and Leena in The Hague! They are really beautiful and sweet: 2 balls of cuteness, with different personalities and attitudes – Leena is more playful and active (she has a passion for small balls of paper to chase and sometimes bring back), Ragga is probably more interested in food and in posing in order to look great in pictures 😊 They are sweet and communicative, and clearly tell you when it is time for play, or cuddles, or food (always, according to Ragga), or a nap… Ana is a very nice person, friendly and welcoming; she provided detailed instructions about the cats and the apartment, which is very well equipped and very comfortable, located in one of the best neighbourhoods of The Hague, with several shops, cafes, and restaurant, and close to both the city centre and the beach. A highly recommended cat-sitting! I really hope I’ll have the opportunity to meet her and those 2 adorable furry ones again.

Ana Maria is an amazing and very hospitable host! She gave clear instructions for caring for her Ragga and Leena that were very easy to follow and both cats are very friendly and lovely to be with. Ana’s home is also very beautiful and in a great location in Den Haag. A lovely home, felt very safe and had everything I needed for my stay. Would love to housesit again at any time!

Short but sweet! I had the extreme pleasure of cat sitting for Ana Maria, in a place which I love... Den Haag/Scheveningen! Ragga and Leena are heartbreakers. They are easy to care for and fun to be around. Ana Maria left clear instructions on their needs and behaviours which made things easy. The Welcome Guide was very helpful too. Her home was well-equipped, comfortable, with great access (walking or the tram) to the beach or city centre. Rail strikes messed up my original arrival time, but Ana Maria was patient and we managed to meet at both ends of this sit, talking like old friends. Communication was great, and her kindness and thoughtfulness made for an even greater sit... And a new friend! Thanks Ana Maria, you are an amazing host with 2 adorable cats!
